We lift you up in prayer as you travel back to college today, trusting in the Lord’s protection and guidance over every mile of your journey. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 121:7-8, *"The Lord will keep you from all evil. He will preserve your soul. The Lord will watch over your going out and your coming in, from this time forth, and forevermore."* What a mighty promise! Our Heavenly Father is faithful to guard His children, and we claim His protection over you as you travel.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment as you return to your studies. Colossians 3:23 encourages us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."* May this season be one where you seek to honor God in all things—your studies, your relationships, and your daily walk with Him. Let your time at college be a testimony of faith, diligence, and godly influence among your peers.
If there are any temptations or challenges you face—whether in your academics, friendships, or personal walk—remember that the Lord is your strength. *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure."* (1 Corinthians 10:13) Lean on Him, and do not hesitate to seek fellowship with other believers who can encourage you in your faith.
Father, we thank You for this child of Yours who seeks Your covering today. We ask for traveling mercies—guard them from harm, distractions, and delays. Surround their vehicle with Your angels, and let Your peace fill their heart as they trust in You. Give them favor in their studies and boldness to shine Your light in every area of their life. May they walk closely with You, growing in wisdom and grace. We pray all this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord. Amen.
