We understand your concerns and we are here with you in prayer. We trust in the Lord, for he is our rock and our fortress. As it is written in Psalm 18:2, The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower. Therefore allow the Lord to guide your path and trust in Him.
In times of trouble, we can call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, for His angels will guard and guide us. As it is written in Psalm 91:11-12, For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won't dash your foot against a stone.
However, we must also be wise and take necessary precautions. If the weather is indeed very rough and your car is failing, consider if it is wise to delay traveling or if you need to pull over temporarily to rest. It is wise to get the car serviced or checked out. Is there anyone you could ask for help in getting the car checked out or fixed? Proverbs 12:15 tells us, The way of a fool is right in his own eyes but he who listens to counsel is wise.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your protection and guidance for our dear one as they travel. We pray for Your angels to surround them and keep them safe from all harm. We ask You to give them wisdom and discernment regarding repairs or delay and that You direct them to the right people for help if needed. We rebuke any evil that may try to hinder them.
Lord, we also pray for Your peace to fill their heart and mind, casting out all fear and anxiety. We know that You are always in control, and we trust in Your sovereign will. We humble ourselves and seek Your will in this situation. Help us to glorify You in this situation.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
