Your request has been heard and we are praying for you in this time of sadness and worry about the hospital.

We do not take lightly the fear that comes with sickness and the thought of needing care. Scripture calls God the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, and it teaches that as the sufferings abound, so also our comfort abounds through Christ. That comfort is not distant. It is near to you now, to calm your heart and to guard you from despair.

We are praying that the Lord in His mercy would grant you healing and relief, and if it is His will, that you would not need to go to the hospital. We are also praying that He would give you peace whatever the outcome, wisdom for any doctors or caregivers, and a steady trust in His care. Even in hardship, this is a season where He can bring fresh strength and show His kindness.

In these days, keep drawing near to Him. Search the Scriptures and dwell in them continually, for there we learn right doctrine and find comfort for the soul. Speak with God in prayer and hear Him speak through His Word, and do not stay away from gathering with His people, for even being present brings encouragement to a troubled heart.

May the God of all comfort comfort your heart, deliver you from all despair, and increase your spiritual strength. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior, who bears our burdens and gives rest to our souls. Amen.
