We come before You, Father God, with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear sister who is facing a frightening situation. We thank You that she has called upon Your name, for there is power in the name of Jesus to heal, protect, and deliver. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, she is already healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promise that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 53:17).
Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear that is trying to take hold of this situation. The Bible tells us that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We command any infection, harm, or danger to flee from her in the mighty name of Jesus. We pray that You would surround her with Your angels, protecting her from all evil (Psalm 91:11). Lord, we ask that You would touch her lips and bring complete healing and restoration. Let no sickness, disease, or harm come near her dwelling (Psalm 91:10).
We also lift up her emotional well-being, Father. Calm her heart and mind, reminding her that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Give her peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) as she trusts in You.
Lord, we ask that You would guide her steps. If it is Your will, keep her from needing medical intervention, but if she does, we pray for wisdom for the doctors and nurses who may care for her. Give them discernment and skill as they seek to bring healing.
We also want to gently remind this sister that her ultimate hope and security are found in You, Jesus. If she has not yet placed her full trust in You as her Lord and Savior, we pray that this situation would draw her closer to You. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We encourage her to confess with her mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in her heart that God raised Him from the dead, and she will be saved (Romans 10:9).
Heavenly Father, we trust in Your goodness and mercy. We declare that this sister will survive and thrive, giving You all the glory. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and let her see Your hand at work in this situation. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, our Healer, Protector, and Redeemer.
Amen.
