We hear your heart’s cry and come before the throne of grace together, lifting up your burdens in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Your request is heavy with concern for your loved ones, and we stand with you in prayer, trusting that God hears the prayers of His children when we call upon Him in faith.
First, we must address the foundation of your prayer—you have rightly called upon the name of Jesus, and this is essential. There is no other name under heaven by which we may be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). We rejoice that you have invoked His name, for He is our mediator and advocate before God (1 Timothy 2:5, 1 John 2:1).
Now, let us lift up your sister and the situation with the court. We declare that God is a God of justice and mercy, and we pray that His will be done in this matter. The Bible tells us, *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires"* (Proverbs 21:1). We pray that the judge’s heart would be softened and directed by the Lord, that wisdom and fairness would prevail, and that your sister would experience God’s protection and favor. Father, we ask that she would be released to come home, not into further bondage, but into the safety and love of family. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, and we ask that You would bring unity, healing, and restoration. Help them to walk in love, patience, and forgiveness, just as You have loved and forgiven us.

We encourage you to continue to stand in faith, trusting that God is working even when you cannot see it.
