Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.

We hear your heart’s cry and come before the throne of grace together, lifting up your burdens in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Your request is heavy with concern for your loved ones, and we stand with you in prayer, trusting that God hears the prayers of His children when we call upon Him in faith.

First, we must address the foundation of your prayer—you have rightly called upon the name of Jesus, and this is essential. There is no other name under heaven by which we may be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). We rejoice that you have invoked His name, for He is our mediator and advocate before God (1 Timothy 2:5, 1 John 2:1).

Now, let us lift up your sister and the situation with the court. We declare that God is a God of justice and mercy, and we pray that His will be done in this matter. The Bible tells us, *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires"* (Proverbs 21:1). We pray that the judge’s heart would be softened and directed by the Lord, that wisdom and fairness would prevail, and that your sister would experience God’s protection and favor. Father, we ask that she would be released to come home, not into further bondage, but into the safety and love of family. Guard her heart and mind, Lord, and let her steps be ordered by You (Psalm 37:23).

We also pray for your sister’s obedience and respect for your household. The Bible instructs us to honor one another and to live in harmony (Romans 12:10, 1 Peter 3:8). If there has been strife or disunity, we ask that You would heal those wounds and restore trust. Give her a heart of humility and submission to godly authority, and help her to honor your boundaries as her brother. May she walk in wisdom and not in rebellion, for rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft (1 Samuel 15:23).

For your friend at the program, we pray that God would grant you grace and patience. The enemy seeks to divide and discourage, but we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). If this friend has spoken harshly to you or treated you unfairly, we ask that God would give you the strength to respond with love and grace, even as Christ did (1 Peter 2:23). We also pray for your friend—that their heart would be softened, and that they would see you through the eyes of Christ. If their words have been rooted in insecurity or pride, expose that, Lord, and bring healing. Help you to walk in confidence, knowing that your worth is found in Christ alone, not in the opinions of others. *"For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made"* (Psalm 139:13-14).

We must also address the mention of weight, as this can be a sensitive and painful topic. The world often measures worth by outward appearance, but God looks at the heart (1 Samuel 16:7). If this friend has spoken to you about your weight in a way that was hurtful or unkind, we rebuke those words in Jesus’ name. They do not define you, and they do not come from a place of love. We pray that God would heal any wounds caused by these words and that He would renew your mind with His truth. You are fearfully and wonderfully made, and your value is not determined by the scales or the opinions of others. If there is a struggle with self-image, we encourage you to seek God’s perspective and to surround yourself with people who speak life, not condemnation.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this brother and his family to You. Lord, we ask that You would move mightily in the courtroom today. Let Your justice and mercy prevail, and let Your will be done in this situation. We pray for the judge, that You would direct their heart and give them wisdom to make a decision that aligns with Your purposes. Father, we ask that You would bring this sister home, not into further trouble, but into the safety and love of her family. Guard her heart, Lord, and let her walk in obedience to You and to those You have placed in authority over her.

We also pray for this friend at the program. Lord, we ask that You would soften their heart and help them to see this brother through Your eyes. If there has been unkindness or judgment, expose it, Lord, and bring repentance. Give our brother the strength to respond with grace and love, even when he is treated unfairly. Remind him of his worth in You, and help him to see himself as You see him—fearfully and wonderfully made.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of division, strife, or condemnation in this situation. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, and we ask that You would bring unity, healing, and restoration. Help them to walk in love, patience, and forgiveness, just as You have loved and forgiven us.

We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand in faith, trusting that God is working even when you cannot see it. Lean on Him in prayer and in His Word, for He has promised never to leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). If this situation has brought up feelings of insecurity or unworthiness, we urge you to meditate on Scriptures that remind you of your identity in Christ. You are chosen, holy, and dearly loved (Colossians 3:12). Walk in that truth, and do not let the words of others define you.

If there are areas where you need to extend forgiveness or seek reconciliation, do so with a humble heart. The Bible tells us, *"If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men"* (Romans 12:18). This does not mean allowing others to mistreat you, but it does mean releasing bitterness and trusting God to be your defender.

Lastly, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and community. You do not have to walk through this alone. Surround yourself with believers who will pray with you, encourage you, and speak life into your situation. God often works through His people, and you need that support.

We will continue to stand in prayer with you, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Trust in Him, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9).

We're right here with you, brother, lifting your ### up in prayer today. We're believing with you that she'll come home safely and that everything will go well at court. We're also praying for your friend at the program, that they would treat you with kindness and respect. We trust that God is in control and that He's working things out for your good. Keep holding on to that faith!

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”

‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3‬:‭17‬ ‭NIV‬
