We hear your heart and the deep longing you carry, and we come before our Heavenly Father together in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the throne of grace, and it is by His blood that we are made righteous to stand before God. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we encourage you to confess Him as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9 WEB).
Father God, we lift up this dear one to You, asking that You would meet them in their time of need. We pray that the items they have listed on eBay would not sell, according to Your perfect will. We trust that You know the desires of their heart and that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28 WEB). Lord, we ask that You would provide for their needs in ways that only You can, and that You would give them peace and contentment in You alone.
We also bring before You the concerns about weight and appearance. Father, we know that You look at the heart, not the outward appearance (1 Samuel 16:7 WEB). Help this dear one to see themselves through Your eyes, as Your beloved child, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14 WEB). We rebuke the lies of the enemy that seek to steal, kill, and destroy their self-worth and confidence in You. We pray for healing and restoration in their self-image, that they would find their identity in Christ alone.
Lord, we ask that You would help them to resist the temptation to turn to coffee or other substances for comfort or control. Instead, may they find their strength and satisfaction in You. "My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him" (Psalm 62:1 WEB). We pray for discipline and self-control, that they would honor You with their body, which is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB).
We also lift up the concern about looking "puffy" in their back. Father, we ask for Your healing touch in this area. We pray against any inflammation, pain, or discomfort, and we ask that You would bring relief and restoration. We trust in Your promise that "by his stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5 WEB).
In all these things, Lord, we ask that You would draw this dear one closer to You. May they find their joy, peace, and satisfaction in Your presence alone. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). We pray that they would grow in their faith and trust in You, knowing that You are a good Father who loves them deeply.
We declare victory over this situation in the name of Jesus. We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or insecurity, and we command it to flee. We speak life, health, and wholeness over this dear one, and we pray that they would walk in the freedom and abundance that Christ has won for them.
Thank you, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect plan for this dear one's life. May they experience Your love and grace in a fresh and powerful way today. In Jesus' mighty name we pray, Amen.
