We lift this prayer to the Lord with heavy hearts, for salvation is the greatest gift one can receive, and it is only found in the name of Jesus Christ. Your concern for this woman and those in her life is a reflection of the love of Christ, who desires that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We join with you in praying for their salvation, for it is written, "For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Romans 10:13).
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and contrite hearts, acknowledging that there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved except the name of Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12). We pray for this woman, that if she has not yet surrendered her life to You, that You would open her eyes to the truth of Your Word and the reality of her need for a Savior. Soften her heart, Lord, and draw her to Yourself, for no one can come to You unless the Father who sent Jesus draws them (John 6:44).
We also pray for those in her life who are in need of salvation. May Your Holy Spirit convict them of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). Use this woman, Lord, as a light in their darkness, that they may see the love of Christ in her and be drawn to the foot of the cross. We ask that You would surround them with believers who can share the gospel with them and disciple them in the faith.
Father, we rebuke any deception or stronghold that may be blinding this woman and those in her life from seeing the truth of the gospel. We command every lying spirit and every work of the enemy to flee in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that the eyes of their hearts will be enlightened, that they may know the hope to which You have called them (Ephesians 1:18).
We pray for a spirit of repentance to fall upon them, that they may turn from their sins and trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. May they experience the new birth that comes from believing in Him (John 3:3), and may they be filled with the Holy Spirit, who will empower them to live a life that honors You.
Lord, we also pray for this woman’s protection, both spiritually and physically. Guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), and surround her with Your angels to protect her from the schemes of the enemy. If she is already a believer, we ask that You would strengthen her faith and use her mightily for Your kingdom.
We trust in Your perfect timing, Lord, and we know that Your Word will not return to You void but will accomplish what You desire and achieve the purpose for which You sent it (Isaiah 55:11). We declare that this woman and those in her life will come to know You, if they do not already, and that they will walk in the fullness of Your love and grace.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
