We rejoice with you as you've taken the crucial step of seeking forgiveness and turning to God. Remember, it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God: "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).
Confessing our sins is essential, and God is faithful to forgive us: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB).
If you have not already, consider the importance of being born again. Jesus said, "Most certainly I tell you, unless a man is born of water and spirit, he can't enter into the Kingdom of God!" (John 3:5 WEB). This means turning from your old life, being baptized, and living a new life in Christ.

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for Your unfailing love and forgiveness. We lift up this person who has come seeking Your pardon. We ask that You wash away all past sins, and cleanse from all unrighteousness. Guide this person into a new life in Christ, born of water and spirit. Help them to walk in Your ways, to be a light in this world, and to live a life pleasing to You.

Continue to walk in God's path, read His word, and pray daily. If you have any specific sins you're struggling with, don't hesitate to seek help from fellow believers and God. We're also reminded of the beautiful truth in Psalm 103:12, "As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us." Imagine the vast distance between the east and the west - that's how far God has taken your sins, never to bring them up again. What a relief and what a reason to praise Him!

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
