We understand your heartache and longing in this difficult time, and we want to lift you up in truth and prayer. First, we must address something deeply important—your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ as the authority through which we approach the Father. While you did say "Please Jesus," it is vital to recognize that our prayers are only heard and answered because of His finished work on the cross, His resurrection, and our faith in Him as Lord and Savior. As Scripture declares, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His will that we must align our desires.

Now, let us speak truth into your situation with love and clarity. The pain of separation and the silence from someone you care for is deeply wounding, but we must examine this relationship through the lens of Scripture. You refer to this person as "###," which suggests this is not a covenant marriage but rather a relationship outside of God’s design. The Bible is clear that intimacy—emotional, physical, or otherwise—belongs within the sacred bond of marriage between one man and one woman who are believers in Christ. *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:18-20, WEB).

If this relationship involves physical or emotional intimacy outside of marriage, we must lovingly but firmly rebuke this as sin. Fornication and emotional entanglements that are not centered on Christ and His design for marriage are not pleasing to God. *"Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed is undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers"* (Hebrews 13:4, WEB). We urge you to repent if there has been sin in this area and to seek God’s forgiveness and cleansing. His grace is sufficient, and He desires to restore you to purity and wholeness.

Additionally, we must ask: Is this man a believer in Jesus Christ? Scripture warns us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for *"what fellowship has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). If he does not share your faith, this relationship cannot honor God, no matter how deeply your feelings may run. A godly marriage is built on a shared foundation of faith in Christ, and without that, there is no true unity.

Even if this man is a believer, we must consider whether this relationship is honoring to God in its current state. Are you both pursuing Christ first, or is your focus on each other? Are you seeking marriage, or are you content with a relationship that falls short of God’s design? *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). If this relationship is not moving toward a Christ-centered marriage, it is not where God wants you to be.

Now, let us pray for you with hearts aligned to God’s will. We do not know if this man is the one God has for you, but we know that God’s plans for you are good, and He desires your holiness and joy far more than temporary comfort. *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future"* (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB).

**Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our sister who is hurting and longing for reconciliation, and we ask that You would meet her in this place of pain. Lord, we pray that You would first draw her closer to Yourself, that she would find her comfort, identity, and worth in You alone. Forgive her, Lord, for any sin in this relationship—whether emotional, physical, or spiritual—and cleanse her heart by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Help her to turn away from anything that does not honor You and to walk in purity and obedience.

Father, we do not know Your will for this relationship, but we ask that You would make it clear. If this man is not the one You have for her, give her the strength to let go and trust in Your perfect plan. If there is hope for reconciliation, we pray that You would soften his heart and draw him to repentance and to You. But above all, Lord, we pray that Your will would be done in her life, not her own desires. Guard her heart from idolatry, for no person should ever take the place of You in her life.

Give her peace that surpasses understanding and fill her with Your love. Surround her with godly community that will encourage her in faith and accountability. Help her to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all things will be added to her as she walks in obedience. Strengthen her, Lord, and remind her that You are her ultimate Bridegroom, her Comforter, and her Provider.

We rebuke the enemy’s lies that she is unlovable or that her worth is tied to this man’s affection. She is Your daughter, redeemed by the blood of Jesus, and You love her with an everlasting love. Let her rest in that truth.

We ask all these things in the precious and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

---
We encourage you to spend time in God’s Word and in prayer, seeking His face above all else. *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this"* (Psalm 37:4-5, WEB). Sometimes, God changes our circumstances, but often, He changes our hearts first. Trust Him in this season, and allow Him to shape your desires to align with His will.

If you are not already part of a Bible-believing church, we urge you to find one where you can grow in faith and be supported by fellow believers. Surround yourself with those who will point you to Christ and hold you accountable to His standards. And if you have not yet surrendered your life fully to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we implore you to do so today. *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation"* (Romans 10:9-10, WEB).

You are loved, sister, and God has a beautiful plan for your life—one that is far greater than any earthly relationship. Trust Him, obey Him, and watch as He works all things together for your good.

Dear sister, we're here with you in this time of longing and heartache. We've been praying for you, and we want to encourage you with these words:

First, let's remind ourselves of the power of Jesus' name. As our first responders mentioned, it's through Jesus Christ that we approach the Father, and it's by His will that we align our desires. So, let's keep praying in His mighty name, trusting that He hears us and will answer according to His perfect will.

Now, let's talk about this situation. It's clear that you're hurting, and it's okay to feel that way. But remember, God sees you, and He cares deeply about your pain. He wants to comfort you and guide you through this.

We need to consider if this relationship aligns with God's design for us. The Bible tells us that intimacy belongs within the sacred bond of marriage between one man and one woman who are believers in Christ. Anything outside of this can lead to heartache and sin.

So, let's ask ourselves some questions: Are you both pursuing Christ first in this relationship? Are you seeking a Christ-centered marriage, or are you content with where you are? Remember, God's plans for us are good, and He desires our holiness and joy above all else.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our sister who is hurting and longing for reconciliation. Lord, we ask that You would first draw her closer to You. Help her to find her comfort, identity, and worth in You alone. Forgive her, Lord, for any sin in this relationship, and cleanse her heart by the power of Your Holy Spirit.

We ask all these things in the precious and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen."

We encourage you to spend time in God's Word and in prayer, seeking His face above all else. Sometimes, God changes our circumstances, but often, He changes our hearts first. Trust Him in this season, and allow Him to shape your desires to align with His will.
