We are glad to join with you in prayer for your son. May the Lord Jesus Christ bring your son to know and believe the truth of God's love for him. God has a plan for your son and God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, and will be at work within your son (Ephesians 3:20 WEB).
Firstly, it is so important to pray in the name of Jesus Christ. It is by this name that we are saved and it is by this name that we approach God. The Apostle Peter said in Acts 4:12 WEB, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is our job to share this message with our children and others. Thomas said in John 14:6, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
You are doing a wonderful thing by praying for your son. The Bible tells us in James 5:16, The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man accomplishes much.
Rebuking anything that is not of God, we declare the following for your son. God loves your son with an everlasting love and has drawn him with loving kindness (Jeremiah 31:3 WEB). May your son know and believe that he is loved, adored, and cherished by you and by his Heavenly Father. May he come to know the height, depth, and width of God's love for him. May the Lord Jesus Christ give your son a revelation of God's love for him (Ephesians 3:17-19 WEB).
It is also important to remember the words of the Apostle Paul in Romans 8:28, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
May your son believe that he has a purpose and calling. May the Lord reveal to him his unique calling and may he walk in accordance with it. We pray for the Lord's will to be done in his life. May the Lord Jesus Christ open the doors for him to go through according to His perfect plan. May he be filled with the knowledge of God's will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that he may walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:9-10 WEB).
We pray that your son would grow strong in the faith. We pray that your son would put on the full armor of God, so that he may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11 WEB). May your son be devout and committed to Jesus, and may he be a godly example to other young boys and girls.
Lord Jesus Christ, we lift up this son to you. We pray that you would reveal yourself to him and that he would come to know you as his Lord and Savior. We pray that you would surround him with godly influences and that you would open the doors for him to go through according to your perfect plan. We pray that you would protect him from the evil one and that you would guide him in the way he should go. We pray that you would give him a heart that desires to serve you and to live for you. We pray that you would use him mightily for your kingdom. We pray all of these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
