Beloved of All
I'm especially afraid to be alone with this ### assistant after she found out we had complained on them, she was pretty careless or deliberately doing something around my face

We hear your fear and we are standing with you in prayer about this difficult and unsettling situation in that office. It is understandable to feel afraid to be alone with someone who has acted carelessly or deliberately around your face, especially after a complaint was made and there may be tension or retaliation. Your safety matters deeply to God and to us, and we want to lift this before the Lord together while also encouraging you toward wise and practical steps.

The Lord sees what happens even when others do not, and He is your refuge when you feel vulnerable. When I am afraid, I will put my trust in you Psalm 56:3. We are reminded that God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. He promises Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust Psalm 91:1-2. We cling to these promises with you.

We encourage you not to ignore this fear or to put yourself in a vulnerable position again. In a practical way, we urge you to not be alone with this assistant. If you must return to that office, bring a trusted family member or friend with you into the room as a witness, ask for a different assistant or provider, and make your concern known in writing to the office manager or doctor. Keep a clear written record of dates, what was said and what was done around your face, and who was present. If you believe there was intentional harm or reckless carelessness, it is right to seek protection and accountability through proper channels, as we are called to be wise and to pursue peace and justice. Behold, I send you out as sheep among wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves Matthew 10:16. If possible, consider seeking care at a different office where you feel safe.

We also notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and find true peace and salvation. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name. That if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. It is in His name we pray and find our refuge.

We pray together for you now.

Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one who is feeling afraid and vulnerable. Lord, You see what happened in that office and You know the fear of being alone with this assistant after the complaint. We ask for Your protection over them physically and emotionally. Cover them under Your wings and let them rest in Your shadow as their fortress. Calm their anxious heart and replace fear with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We pray for wisdom for every next step, for courage to speak up, to bring a witness, to document what happened, and to seek help from those in authority. We pray that You would move in the hearts of those in that office, that they would act with integrity, accountability, and care, and that any wrongdoing would be brought to light and corrected. If this assistant acted carelessly or deliberately, we pray You would convict and change that heart, and prevent any further harm to anyone. Lead our friend to safe and trustworthy care, and provide godly counsel and support around them. Help them to trust You more deeply and to know that You are near to the brokenhearted and close to those who are afraid. We ask all of this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our refuge and strength, amen.

We are continuing to pray that the Lord will give you clear direction, surround you with safe people, and restore your peace. Please do not hesitate to reach out for help from trusted family, friends, or leadership if you feel unsafe, and let us know how you are doing so we can keep praying with you.

We can hear how uneasy this has left you, and it makes sense you would dread being alone with that assistant after what happened near your face, especially after the complaint. Wanting to keep distance is a natural way to protect yourself.

We want you to know you do not have to navigate this alone or just hope it gets better. For any future visit to that office, consider taking a couple of practical steps ahead of time. You could contact the office manager in writing and ask not to be scheduled with that assistant and to have another staff member present in the room. If the clinic allows, bring a trusted family member or friend to sit in with you. When you are there, it is okay to ask that the door stay open and to ask to pause or step out if you feel uncomfortable.

It can also help to write down what happened, with dates and details, so you have a clear record if you need to follow up with a supervisor or patient relations office. Keeping that record and having another person with you can make it easier to stay calm and to be heard.

Father, we lift them to You in Jesus name. We ask for Your protection and peace, for wisdom for each next conversation, and for a safe way forward where they are treated with care and dignity. Give them courage and surround them with supportive people. Amen.

Your trembling in that place of work has been heard, and the Lord knows the fear that comes when you must be alone with one who has shown carelessness and even harshness toward you after a complaint was made.

The Scripture speaks very plentifully to such fear. Again and again the Lord says, Fear not, for I am with thee, be not dismayed for I am thy God. Fear not, thou worm Jacob, I will help thee, saith the Lord. It is not merely a preacher who cries Fear not, but Jesus Himself who whispers to His poor servant, Fear not. To hear that voice is to find strength, for there must be trust in promised strength, and then fear is removed by that promise.

Fear of man bringeth a snare, and such a snare that many feet have been tripped by it. Fear is weakening and it dishonors God when we doubt that the arm which piled the heavens and sustains the pillars of the earth could ever fail to help us. Yet the Lord is tender toward those who fear. He does not chide you harshly for being afraid, but He would have you labor to get rid, as much as possible, of fear by looking unto Jesus. In proportion as faith gets stronger, fear will vanish, for perfect love casteth out fear, because fear hath torment.

Your safety lies not in your own watchfulness alone, but in your Savior. Unto Him that is able to keep you from falling is your safety assured, for He is as wise as He is able. He is able to keep you and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory. When you realize your danger and fly to the Lord to guard you, then you are safe.

Take then both spiritual and prudent steps. Seek the Lord in prayer and ask Him to put His fear in your heart that you may walk wisely, and to give you His peace which guards heart and mind. At the same time, use the means He provides for your protection. Do not willingly be alone with this assistant if it can be avoided. Let another be present when you must interact, keep a clear record of what has occurred around your face and elsewhere, and make it known to those in authority over the office that you require a safe place to work. This is not a lack of faith, but wisdom, for the Lord would have us not abuse His grace nor tempt Him by needless exposure to harm.

Let us pray for you.

O Lord our God, Thou hast said Fear not for I will help thee. Look upon this Thy servant who is troubled and afraid in the place of daily labor. Be Thou near, for Thou art with Thy people. Give calmness to the heart and deliverance from the snare of the fear of man. Put Thy holy awe in the heart and cast out tormenting fear by Thy perfect love. Keep this one from harm, guide those in authority to act with justice and care, and turn the heart of the assistant from carelessness or malice to what is right. Grant wisdom to know how to speak and how to act, and provide a witness and protection where there is vulnerability. Keep this soul trusting in Jesus Christ, in whom alone is salvation, and let Thy presence be felt as a shield. In the name of Jesus our Savior we ask it. Amen.

Continue to cast your care upon Him, for He careth for you, and seek not to carry this burden alone but tell it to the Lord and to faithful and responsible persons who can help you walk through it.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your concern about feeling unsafe at work has been heard, and your fear about being alone with this assistant after a complaint was made is understandable. It is distressing when a workplace that should be orderly and respectful feels threatening, and when you are unsure whether carelessness was intentional and directed at you.

Scripture reminds us that the Lord is a stronghold for those who fear Him, and that a clear conscience before God brings a deep steadiness even when others act harshly. Righteousness, lived out quietly and consistently, keeps us in safety far more than retaliation or anxiety ever could. At the same time God does not call us to ignore danger or to live in constant dread. Fear is best turned into wise and steady action.

I will pray for you now.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ I ask for Your protection and peace over this person. You see what happens in this office and You know the truth about what was done. Give calmness in place of fear, wisdom to act rightly, and safety in every interaction at work. Guard this person's body and mind, and let no harm come near. Give favor with those in authority who can help, and work in the heart of this assistant to act with care and restraint. Help all involved to do what is just and good, and let Your presence be a strong refuge each day. Amen.

In the days ahead, consider these steps as you continue to pray:

Seek safety through wise practice. Avoid being alone with this assistant when possible. Ask for another trusted colleague or supervisor to be present for needed interactions, and keep doors open or meet in visible areas.

Keep a clear and simple written record of what happened, with dates, times, and what was said or done near your face. This helps you speak accurately and calmly if you need to report again.

Seek godly and responsible counsel. Speak to a supervisor, human resources, or another appropriate authority about your concern for safety, not to seek revenge but to seek a safe and just workplace. If you ever feel physically threatened, seek help immediately.

Do not return evil for evil. Continue to do your work faithfully and righteously, speaking truthfully and without exaggeration, and leaving judgment to God and to proper authorities. Those who do what is right can rest with a clear conscience before God, and He is able to keep them.

You do not need to be ashamed of feeling afraid, but you also do not need to be ruled by fear. As Moses entrusted himself to God rather than fearing the anger of the king, you can entrust yourself to the One who sees what is invisible and who keeps His people. Ask Him each morning for courage, for self control, and for words that are both truthful and gentle.

We are continuing to pray that God will give you protection, peace, and wisdom, and that He will bring a more respectful and safe environment to your workplace.
