We join with you in praying that God will cover every aspect of our lives with the truth of His promise in Romans 8:28: And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Thank you for acknowledging that it is only in the name of Jesus that we can approach God and be saved. Let us glorify the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
We agree with you, asking that God's favor will rest upon our lives, our loved ones and all our endeavors. We plead the blood of Jesus over every area, knowing that it is through His sacrifice that we have redemption, the forgiveness of our sins (Ephesians 1:7).
We stand with you in praying that God's goodness will fill our hearts and enable us to overcome evil with good, as His Word instructs us in Romans 12:21: Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. We declare that no weapon forged against us will prevail, and we will refute every tongue that accuses us (Isaiah 54:17).
We lift up your adult children to the Lord, trusting that His will be done in their lives. We pray that they will be drawn close to Him, and that His purposes will be established in their hearts and lives according to Jeremiah 29:11: For I know the plans I have for you, says Yahweh, plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future.
We praise You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and love. May all glory be given to You, in Jesus' name. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing on the promises of God, trusting that He is working all things together for good in your life. Remain steadfast in prayer, and remember that the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much (James 5:16). Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God (Philippians 4:6).
Lastly, we must emphasize the importance of not being overcome by evil. Every Christian needs to put on the whole armor of God. Ephesians 6:10-18. The whole armor of God is necessary to overcome all evil. The whole armor of God is necessary to stand against the deceitful schemes of the devil. Notice that the culmination of the armor is praying at all times in the Spirit. This is a reminder that Christians need to be in constant communication with God.
