Lord this morning as I pray for all the marriages under attack I pray that you will do the same for my marriage. Father I pray that you may open the ears of our spouses to hear Your voice; may You open their eyes to see Your guidance: and may You open their heart to receive Your wisdom. May You Give him a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of You, and may the eyes of their heart be enlightened so that he may know what is the hope of Your calling, what are the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in the saints and what is the surpassing greatness of Your power toward us who believe. (Eph. 1:17-19). Lord I pray that you will remove the spirits of adultery, unfaithfulness, anger, lying spirit, perverse spirit, spirit of whoredoms, seducing and deceiving spirit, spirit of heaviness or oppression, disobedience, pride, bondages and addictions to alcohol, drugs or pills. Lord, remove all rebellious spirits and spirit of death from all the prodigals’ hearts.
Lord I pray that you will give every spouse a new heart and put a new spirit in them. Thank You for removing their heart of stone and turning it to a heart of flesh. Nothing is too hard for You to do. May wisdom enter our spouse’s heart and knowledge be pleasant to their souls; may discretion guard them, and understanding watch over them to deliver him from the way of evil. (Prov. 2:10-12) May our spouse’s trust in You with all their heart, and not lean on their own understanding; may the acknowledge You in all their ways, and may You make their paths straight. (Prov. 3:5-6).
May they not be carnally minded, which is death, but may he be spiritually minded, which is life and peace. (Rom. 8:6) May they be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that they may walk in a manner worthy of You, to please You in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of You; strengthened with all power according to Your glorious might for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience: joyously giving thanks to You, who have qualified us to share in the inheritance of eth saints in light. (Col. 1:9-12).
May You give our spouses a deep thirst for Your word and may You give him a strong hunger to
move in the power of the Holy Spirit. Father, I know that You will lead him into all truth by your
Spirit. (John 16:13) I thank You and praise You and have confidence that since You have begun a good work in our spouses, You will complete it. (Phil. 1:6). Lord I pray against to spirit of adultery today. Lord I ask that you will touch the other woman or man’s heart today and bring them to repentance. Allow them to find their own personal relationships with You as You draw them closer to You, you will give them good godly husband’s and wives’ that are not our spouses. Father I pray that you will build a hedge of protection around every marriage under attack today. Lord I pray that You will sanctify these marriages and mount every husband and wife to be the man and woman of God You have called them to me.
I pray that you will cover every area of their lives and marriage with the blood of Jesus today, as nothing can penetrate the blood of the lamb. Lord I pray that You will block our spouse’s paths with thornbushes; That You will wall them in so that y they cannot find their way. They will chase after their lovers but not catch them; They will look for them but not find them. Then they will say, ‘I will go back to my husband or wife as at first, for then I was better off than now.’†(Hosea 2:6-7)
Lord I thank You and praise You. You are Lord and a good God, whose plans are not to harm us,
You declared that Your plans are to prosper us and to give us hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11) You reign supreme The one and only true living God we thank you for the blood of Jesus and your everlasting mercies and love and we thank you what with men is impossible is possible with you. I thank you God for the breakthrough’s the signs, wonders and miracles in the coming days. We know that You hate divorce and that You will honor the prayers of every spouse standing for the restoration of their marriages today. We know that Your will for us is that we keep our covenant with You. Lord this is a confident prayer filled with boldness and as Your word says that the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. So I know oh God that in these very coming days you will move mightily, I know it will be so, I know you will move swiftly and in perfect timing in the restoration of these marriages in the name of Jesus amen!
