We join with you in praising our Heavenly Father for this new day, for His faithfulness that the darkness has passed and His light shines anew upon us. You have come before Him with a heart of surrender, seeking His perfect will and timing, and that is a place of great blessing. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 37:4-5, *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will bring it to pass."* Your desire for a home that honors Him and provides refuge for you and your son is good, and we trust He hears your cry.
The dust and struggle you face are not unseen by God. He knows the toll it takes on your health and peace, and He is a God who provides. In Exodus 15:26, He declares, *"I am Yahweh who heals you."* We pray that as you seek a new home, He would also bring healing to your bodies, that the need for medication would lessen, and that your strength would be renewed. His timing is perfect, even when it feels delayed. Remember Isaiah 55:8-9, *"āFor my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways,ā says Yahweh. āFor as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.ā"* Trust that if these houses today are not the ones He has prepared, it is because He has something betterāsomething that aligns with His purpose for your lives.
We also commend you for your wisdom in not wanting to move forward without His approval. Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and donāt lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* As you view these homes, ask the Holy Spirit to give you discernment. Look for His peaceāa peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7)āas confirmation. If there is hesitation, unease, or a lack of clarity, take it as His guidance to wait. He may be protecting you from unseen challenges or directing you toward a home you havenāt yet seen.
Let us pray together for you:
Father in Heaven, we lift up our sister and her son before You today, asking for Your divine guidance as they seek a home. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and we trust You to open the right doors and close the wrong ones. Give them eyes to see what You see, Lordāwhether it is in the homes they view today or in a home yet to be revealed. Let Your Holy Spirit go before them, preparing the way and making Your will undeniably clear. If these homes are not the ones You have chosen, guard their hearts from disappointment and fill them with hope for what is to come.
We pray for healing over their bodies, that the dust and allergens they endure would no longer afflict them. Restore their health, Lord, and let this season of waiting be a testament to Your faithfulness. Remind them that even in the waiting, You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).
Most of all, Father, let them find their joy and contentment in You alone, not just in the blessing of a new house but in the blessing of Your presence. May this journey draw them closer to You, deepening their trust and surrender. We ask all this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
Stand firm in faith, dear sister. His promise to you is sure: *"He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 1:6). Whether today brings the answer or another step in the journey, He is with you. Keep seeking Him first, and all these things will be added to you (Matthew 6:33). We are praying with you!
