We hear the earnestness in your heart as you seek confirmation and blessing over your decisions, and we join you in lifting this before the Lord. It is good that you have invoked the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and receive wisdom, protection, and guidance. As Scripture reminds us, *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed"* (James 1:5-6, WEB). Your plea for wisdom and protection is one that aligns with God’s will, and we trust He will answer you as you seek Him with a sincere heart.
Yet we must also encourage you to examine the foundation of your decisions. Are they rooted in Scripture and submitted to the Lordship of Christ? The Psalmist declares, *"I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you"* (Psalm 32:8, WEB). If you have not already, take time to search the Scriptures and seek godly counsel from mature believers who can help you discern whether your choices align with God’s Word. The Lord does not leave His children in confusion but leads them in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake (Psalm 23:3).
We also notice your plea for protection from evil and curses. Be assured that in Christ, you are already under the mighty protection of the Most High. *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh"* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). If you have any involvement in occult practices, superstitions, or ungodly influences—even unwittingly—we urge you to renounce them immediately and cling to Christ alone. *"Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7, WEB). The blood of Jesus is your shield, and His Word is your sword.
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up your child before You, asking that You would grant them clear confirmation and peace about the decisions they have made. Lord, if there is any choice that does not align with Your will, reveal it to them by Your Holy Spirit. Give them wisdom that comes from above—pure, peaceable, and full of mercy. Protect them from the schemes of the enemy and break every curse or ungodly tie that may seek to hinder them. Cover them with the blood of Jesus and surround them with Your angels, that no weapon formed against them shall prosper.
Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in You completely, knowing that You order their steps. If there is any fear or doubt, replace it with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear. Lead them in the path of righteousness, and let every decision they make bring glory to Your name. We ask this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will not leave you without guidance. Continue to seek Him in prayer, in His Word, and through the counsel of godly believers. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). May the peace of Christ, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind as you wait on Him.
