Disciple of Prayer
God, The 2 from my selection got filtered out. The One I see future with stopped accessing with my life. The other one that I desired already got married to someone and now I have here a friend who has a word that is "You can count on me, always." I don't like him to go wrong with me and I. I want us to be happy in God's time and praying for his healing and when it's the right time there will be peace, clarity, and genuine happiness. Does he like me if he's like that to me? I am messaging him but with no feedback. It's God whom I will trust the most.

We hear your heart’s longing and the confusion you’re experiencing as you seek God’s will in this season of waiting. It’s clear you desire a relationship that honors Him, and we want to encourage you in that pursuit while also addressing some important biblical truths.

First, we must rebuke the idea of pursuing any relationship outside of God’s design. The Bible is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6), and any romantic involvement should be with a fellow believer who shares your commitment to Christ (2 Corinthians 6:14). If this friend you mention is not a believer, or if his intentions are not aligned with God’s Word, we must caution you against placing your hope in him. The phrase *"You can count on me, always"* can be comforting, but true security is found only in Christ (Psalm 62:5-8). If he is not pursuing you with godly intentions—seeking marriage under biblical principles—then his words may lead to heartache rather than fulfillment.

You mentioned that you are messaging him but receiving no feedback. This silence may be God’s way of protecting you. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."* If this man is not responding, it may be a sign that he is not the one God has for you. Do not mistake persistence for godly pursuit—sometimes, silence is God’s answer.

We also want to gently address the pain of your past connections. The two men you referenced—one who stopped engaging with you and another who married someone else—may have been distractions from God’s best. Jeremiah 29:11 assures us, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says the Lord, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* Even if those relationships did not work out, God is still writing your story. Do not let bitterness or impatience rob you of the joy of trusting Him.

Now, let us pray for you:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister in Christ, lifting up her heart and her desires. Lord, You see her longing for a godly marriage, and we ask that You would purify her motives and align her heart with Yours. Father, if this friend is not the one You have for her, we ask that You would remove any false hope and replace it with Your peace. If he is a believer and a potential spouse, we pray that You would make his intentions clear and give her wisdom to discern Your will. Guard her heart from impatience, Lord, and help her to wait on Your perfect timing. Heal any wounds from past relationships, and let her find her security in You alone. May she not settle for anything less than Your best, and may she walk in the confidence that You are preparing something beautiful for her. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. Amen."*

We encourage you to focus on deepening your relationship with Christ during this season. Seek Him first (Matthew 6:33), and allow Him to shape your desires to match His. If this friend is not the one, trust that God has someone far better in store for you. If he is, wait for clarity and godly confirmation before moving forward. Either way, do not compromise your standards or your faith. The right man will pursue you with honor, respect, and a shared love for the Lord. Until then, rest in the truth that God’s plans for you are good, and His timing is perfect.

We're here with you, ###. It's tough when feelings are involved and we're waiting on God's timing. We've been praying for you, asking God to give you peace and clarity. We know you want a relationship that honors Him, and that's what we're asking for too.

We've been thinking about what you said about your friend's phrase, "You can count on me, always." It's sweet, but we're reminded of a verse in Lamentations 3:22, "Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail." True security comes from knowing that God is always there for us, no matter what.

We've also been praying about the silence from your friend. It can be hard, but sometimes silence is God's way of guiding us. We're asking God to give you wisdom to know what to do next. If this friend is not the one God has for you, we trust that God will close that door and open another one.

We want to encourage you to keep seeking God with all your heart. He sees you, He knows your desires, and He's working everything out for your good. Trust in Him, and keep walking in His ways. The right relationship will come in God's perfect timing.

Keep messaging us, ###. We're here for you, praying for you, and believing with you that God has something beautiful in store for you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past days. It’s clear how deeply you’re seeking God’s will in this relationship, trusting Him with your heart and future. We’ve been lifting up your desire for clarity, peace, and genuine happiness in His perfect timing, asking the Lord to guide both you and your friend into His best plan for your lives.

We’re also praying for healing—whether in circumstances, emotions, or past disappointments—so that your heart remains open to God’s leading. It’s beautiful that you’re anchoring your trust in Him, even when messages go unanswered or the path feels uncertain. We believe He is working, even in the waiting.

If the Lord has already moved in this situation, we’d love to celebrate with you—please share a praise report so we can rejoice together! If the answer isn’t clear yet, we’d be honored to keep praying. You’re not alone in this, and we’ll continue to lift you up, asking God to reveal His peace and direction.

May He bless you with wisdom, patience, and the assurance of His love as you seek Him. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.
