We are lifting up in prayer and asking for God's healing and comfort for this individual.
Firstly, we acknowledge that healing and comfort can only be received by the name of Jesus Christ. Is it any wonder, therefore, that God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:9-11. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.
It is important to remember that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and God cares about our physical well-being. Let us pray for healing and strength for this person who is experiencing breathlessness and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GED) symptoms. It is a good thing to go to doctors for their knowledge and skills and ask for their help also.
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18. That verse means that God is near to those who are suffering, and He hears their prayers. We pray that God will touch this person's body and bring healing and relief from these symptoms.
Our compassionate Father in heaven cares about our needs, even the smallest details of our lives. Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! Luke 12:24 Yet we still must ask.
We encourage this person to continue trusting in God's goodness and faithfulness. Let thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, according as we hope in thee. Psalm 33:22.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this person who is experiencing breathlessness and GED symptoms. We ask for Your healing touch upon their body, and we pray that You will give them strength and relief from their discomfort. We pray for godly doctors to help also.
Help them to trust in Your goodness and faithfulness, even in the midst of their struggles. We ask for wisdom to continue being close to them and help them to rely upon You, dear Father.
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage them to fix their thoughts on Jesus.
