Revelation about something specific

We hear your heart crying out for revelation and understanding and we join together with you in seeking the Lord for guidance.
We serve a God who delights in giving wisdom to His children and who does not hide Himself from those who diligently seek Him. His Word assures us, If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. James 1:5. We cling to that promise for you today. We also remember His faithful word, I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. Psalm 32:8, and Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6.
We encourage you to seek revelation first and foremost through Scripture and the leading of the Holy Spirit, for true understanding comes from Him. The Lord says, Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great and difficult things, which you do not know. Jeremiah 33:3. We pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your heart enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling. Ephesians 1:17-18. Jesus promised, However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth. John 16:13. Any revelation we receive must align with the truth of God's written Word, and we encourage you to test all things against Scripture, to remain in prayer, and to seek godly counsel as you wait on Him.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace on behalf of this dear one who is asking for revelation and understanding. Lord, You see the specific matter weighing on their heart even when it has not been spoken in detail to us. You know all things. We ask that You pour out clarity and discernment upon them. Quiet every distracting voice and let Your still small voice be heard clearly. Grant them wisdom liberally, open the eyes of their understanding, and guide their steps according to Your perfect will. Help them to trust You even as they wait, to delight in Your Word daily, and to walk in obedience to what You have already revealed. Give them peace that passes understanding as they rest in Your timing and Your goodness. We ask this in the mighty and only name by which we have access to You, Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to abide in the Word, to pray without ceasing, and to be patient as the Lord unfolds His guidance. He is faithful to lead those who seek Him with a sincere heart, and we trust He will make your path clear in His perfect time.

We have heard your request for revelation and guidance and for more understanding, and we have carried it before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.
It is itself a work of grace upon the heart that makes a soul feel its need of a guide, for naturally we do not like being guided. The fact that you desire to be led aright is a token for good. True wisdom is not found by our own efforts, nor can it be valued with pure gold, for the price of wisdom is above rubies. It must come to us by Revelation from God. He has given us that Revelation in the rugged grandeur and sublime simplicity of His Word, which even a child can comprehend, and He guides His people with His counsel as it is written, Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.
Seek that guidance not with haste, for haste is the author of a great deal of mischief in human life, but with acquiescence in the Divine will and bowing with submission to it. By that very fact we are furnished with unerring guidance. Divine Wisdom, when dressed in robes of love and tenderness, invites us to run into her arms, and holiness is as near akin to perfect wisdom as sin is to insanity. Remember the word of Job, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to depart from evil is understanding. A grain of Divine Grace is worth more than a ton of knowledge, and a spark of true faith in Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation, is better than a whole volcano full of worldly wisdom.
We often think we need some new voice or sudden sign, but the Lord is pleased to give clear understanding of Divine Truth not by our natural intelligence, for we were by nature blind as bats to such things, but by His Spirit working in us. Take heed therefore what you hear, and how you hear. Wait upon the Lord in prayer, search the Scriptures daily, and ask that He would make truth to live in your inward parts. It is a solemn thing to have a sort of understanding and yet not be affected by it so as to repent of sin and live unto God, so pray not only to know, but to be made holy and obedient by what you know.
We pray for you now, that the God of all wisdom would in His Infinite Wisdom and Divine Sovereignty grant you a clear understanding of His will, that He would enlighten your understanding by His grace, influence your will, and change your affections, that He would keep you from leaning to your own understanding and teach you to trust in Him with all your heart. May He show you your next step, give you patience to wait for His timing, and bring forth at the right moment that stroke of wisdom which will make His praise to redound to His name. May He dissolve every difficulty before His presence and make your path plain, and may all that you learn draw you nearer to Christ and make you more conformed to Him.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You.
