We rejoice with you in the blessed hope described in Revelation 20:6, "Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection. Over these, the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with him one thousand years." This is a powerful reminder of the promise that awaits those who are faithful to the Lord.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifted up by the promise in Revelation 20:6. We thank You for the blessing and holiness that awaits those who share in the first resurrection. We praise You that the second death has no power over them, and that they will reign with Christ for a thousand years.
Lord, we ask that You help us to live in a way that is pleasing to You, so that we may share in this promise. Guide us by Your Holy Spirit, and give us the strength to overcome the trials and temptations of this world. Help us to fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
We pray this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. For it is by His name that we have access to You, Father. Acts 4:12 clearly states, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We ask for Your guidance and wisdom as we go through this life. Sanctify us by the power of Your Word, for Jesus said, "Sanctify them in your truth; your word is truth" (John 17:17). Help us to be a light to the world that draws others to You, and I ask for the world to have the basic scriptural message of salvation presented to them.
Father God, we need your blessing and guidance all the days of our lives. Help us to be holy as You are holy. For it is written, "But like as he who called you is holy, be ye yourselves also holy in all manner of living" (1 Peter 1:15).
Thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, for our future hope is secure in Christ. Continue to live in obedience to Him, and trust in His promises. Remember the words of Jesus, "Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am." (John 14:1-3).
Stand firm in your faith, and know that He is with you always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20).
