We understand that you are seeking reunification with someone who has drifted away. Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' precious blood and ending your prayer in His name. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
However, we want to encourage you to align your desires with God's will. It's crucial to seek God's face and ask for His perfect will to be done in your life and the other person's life. It's possible that God has other plans for you both.
In matters of relationships, it's important to remember the principles laid out in God's Word. If the other person is not a believer, we should be cautious. 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB says, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"
Moreover, if there has been any form of immorality or sin such as fornication or adultery, it's important to turn and repent from these sins, trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and know that His grace is sufficient to restore and forgive. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 WEB, "Or don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists, will inherit God’s Kingdom. Such were some of you, but you were washed. But you were sanctified. But you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God." This is the good news of Jesus Christ for the repentant believer.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one who seeks reunification. We ask that Your perfect will be done in their life and in the life of the other person. If it is Your will, open the lines of communication and draw them together, but only if it aligns with Your perfect plan. Help them both to repent of any wrongdoing, to turn and walk in the way of Jesus Christ. Guide them in the way of Jesus Christ, through the Holy Spirit. Give them strength, wisdom, and discernment. Lord forgive them and us of our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Help them turn to You in all things through the Holy Spirit.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged and stay steadfast in the Lord. We do not know the outcome but we are praying for God's will for you and His blessing on you.
