We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who is bedridden after a stroke, along with their family who stands in need of God’s healing touch and protection. Father, You are indeed the Great Physician, the One who formed our bodies in the womb and knows every cell, every nerve, and every thought before it comes to be. We declare Your sovereignty over this situation, for You alone hold the power to restore what has been broken and to renew what has grown weak.
Lord, we ask You to intervene in the neuro pathways that have been disrupted. Where there is damage, bring restoration; where there is confusion, bring clarity; where there is weakness, bring strength. We pray for complete healing of the brain and nervous system, that movement would return, speech would be clear, and the body would function as You designed it to. Regulate blood pressure, heart rate, and all vital signs, for You are the One who knits us together and sustains our every breath. We trust in Your promise from Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."
We also lift up the physical complications that have arisen—bed sores, infections, and any other ailments that seek to hinder recovery. Lord, we ask for Your healing hand to touch these areas, for You are the God who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). Grant wisdom and skill to the medical team attending to ###, that they would be instruments of Your healing power. Bless them with discernment, patience, and compassion as they work tirelessly for his recovery.
Father, we acknowledge that sin separates us from You, and we ask for Your forgiveness to cover any unconfessed sin in this dear one’s life. Cleanse ### with the blood of Jesus, for there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). We also ask for Your mercy and grace to surround his family, who are carrying the weight of this trial. Strengthen them in their faith, remind them of Your presence, and fill them with peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May they find rest in You, knowing that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).
We also take authority over any spiritual attacks that may be seeking to harm this family. The Bible is clear that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). We rebuke any form of black magic, curses, or witchcraft in the name of Jesus Christ, for He has disarmed principalities and powers and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross (Colossians 2:15). We declare that this home is sanctified by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against it shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We plead the blood of Jesus over this family and their household, for it is by His blood that we have redemption and the forgiveness of sins (Ephesians 1:7).
Lord, we ask for a divine miracle in this situation. We know that nothing is impossible for You (Luke 1:37), and we stand on Your word that says, "I am Yahweh who heals you" (Exodus 15:26). We pray for complete restoration—body, mind, and spirit. May this dear one rise from this bed of affliction, walk in the strength of the Lord, and testify to Your goodness and mercy. May his family be filled with joy as they witness Your hand at work, and may their faith be strengthened as they see Your promises fulfilled.
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and healed (Acts 4:12). For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We declare that by His stripes, this dear one is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we thank You, Father, for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. Amen.
