We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who is bedridden after a stroke. Father God, You are indeed the Great Physician, the One who formed this beloved individual in their mother’s womb and knows every cell of their body. We ask You to move mightily in this situation, restoring neuro pathways, regulating blood pressure, and bringing all vital signs into perfect balance. Lord, we pray for strength to return—strength to eat without assistance, to speak clearly, and to walk again under Your divine power. Heal infections, close bed sores, and grant wisdom and skill to every doctor, therapist, and nurse involved in their care.
We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and darkness that seeks to prolong suffering. In the name of Jesus, we declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, including any form of black magic, curses, or witchcraft. Your Word declares in Isaiah 54:17, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is from me," says the Lord.* We stand on this promise, Lord, and command every evil influence to flee in Jesus’ name.
Father, we also ask for forgiveness of sins—not because healing is earned by works, but because sin can create spiritual barriers that hinder Your perfect will. We trust in Your mercy and grace, knowing that *"if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). We pray for this family, that You would surround them with Your love, protection, and peace that surpasses all understanding.
Lord, we acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to You. There is no other name under heaven by which we may be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You for the sacrifice of Your Son, who bore our sicknesses and carried our pains (Isaiah 53:4-5). We claim that victory now over this stroke and every complication. May this family see Your glory revealed in this situation, and may they give You all the praise and honor.
We pray for complete restoration, not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them experience Your presence in a tangible way. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Healer. Amen.
