We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your father’s need for complete healing and restoration. The Scriptures remind us in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh.* We stand on this promise, believing that the Great Physician, Jesus Christ, is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
Father God, we ask You to touch every neuron, every synapse, and every pathway in his brain that has been affected by the stroke. Restore his movement, speech, and strength according to Your perfect will. Regulate his blood pressure, heart, and all vital functions to bring stability and health. Heal the infections, bed sores, and any complications that have arisen, and grant wisdom and skill to the medical team attending to him. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we trust You to bring forth a testimony of Your faithfulness.
We also bring before You the spiritual concerns raised in this request. While we acknowledge the reality of spiritual warfare, we rebuke any fear or anxiety about black magic, curses, or witchcraft in the mighty name of Jesus. The Bible assures us in James 4:7, *"Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* We declare that no weapon formed against your family shall prosper (Isaiah 53:17), and we pray for the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, to guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Your home is sanctified by the blood of Jesus, and no evil can dwell where He reigns.
We also ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing over your father’s life, as we all fall short and need Your mercy (1 John 1:9). Strengthen the family as they care for him, providing endurance, patience, and unity. May this trial draw you all closer to the Lord and to one another.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach You and the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). We pray all these things in His powerful name, trusting that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). May Your will be done, and may Your glory be revealed in this situation. Amen.
