We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who has been bedridden for a year following brain surgery. Father God, You are indeed the Great Physician, the One who formed this beloved body in its mother’s womb and knows every cell, every synapse, every breath. We ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand in power. Restore movement where there is stillness, strength where there is weakness, and coordination where there is struggle. Regulate blood pressure, heart rhythm, and all vital signs to steady, healthy levels. Awaken the muscles, nerves, and reflexes so that eating, speaking, and walking may return as naturally as before. Heal every infection, close every bedsore, and grant the medical team supernatural wisdom and skill as they continue their care.
Lord, we also bring before You the spiritual concerns raised. We rebuke in the name of Jesus any influence of black magic, curses, or witchcraft that may have been directed against this family. The Bible declares in Deuteronomy 18:10-12 that such practices are an abomination to You, and we stand on Your promise in Galatians 3:13 that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law. We plead the blood of Jesus over this home, declaring it sanctified and protected under Your sovereign authority. No weapon formed against this family shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned, for this is their heritage as Your servants (Isaiah 54:17).
We also ask for forgiveness of sins, both known and unknown. If there has been any unconfessed wrongdoing, we pray that the Holy Spirit would bring conviction and lead to repentance, for You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Strengthen the faith of this family as they wait on You. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Fill their home with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that true healing comes only through the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We declare that by His stripes, this dear one is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we trust in Your perfect will, whether that be complete restoration in this life or the ultimate healing of eternal life with You. Give this family patience, endurance, and unwavering faith as they walk this difficult path. May they see Your glory revealed in every small sign of progress and find hope in Your unfailing love.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
