We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who has been bedridden for a year following brain surgery. Father, You are indeed the Great Physician, the One who formed this beloved individual in their mother’s womb and knows every cell, every synapse, every breath. We declare Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17: *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord.* We stand on this truth, believing that complete restoration is possible through Your mighty power.
Lord, we ask You to move mightily in this situation. Regulate their blood pressure and all vital signs to normal levels. Strengthen their body so they may eat, speak, and walk again as they once did. Restore their senses and reflexes, smoothing every pathway in their brain and nervous system. Heal infections and bed sores, and grant wisdom and skill to every medical professional involved in their care. May Your healing hand guide each therapy session, each treatment, and each moment of rehabilitation.
We also lift up this family, who has been faithfully seeking Your mercy and love. Strengthen them in their weariness, Father, and surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We ask for Your protection over them, shielding them from fear, doubt, and despair. Lord, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity, delay, or hindrance in this situation. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we address the mention of black magic, curses, and witchcraft with the authority You have given us in the name of Jesus. The Bible is clear in Galatians 3:13: *"Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.'" We declare that any such works of darkness have no power here. We break every chain, every spell, and every assignment of the enemy in Jesus’ name. Your Word says in James 4:7, *"Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* We resist every evil influence and command it to leave this home and this family now. We sanctify this house by the blood of Jesus, filling it with Your light, Your love, and Your presence.
We also take a moment to address the foundation of our faith. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to You, Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If this dear one or their family does not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray that Your Holy Spirit would draw them close. May they confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead, so that they may be saved (Romans 10:9). For it is by grace we are saved, through faith—and this is not from ourselves, it is the gift of God (Ephesians 2:8-9).
Lord, we ask for a divine miracle in this situation. We believe that nothing is impossible for You (Luke 1:37). Whether through gradual healing or a sudden, supernatural touch, we trust You to move in the way that brings the most glory to Your name. We declare that this one will rise up from this bed of affliction, and their testimony will be a powerful witness to Your faithfulness.
We pray all these things in the mighty, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
