We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear father who has been bedridden since his brain surgery. Heavenly Father, You are indeed the Great Physician, the One who formed us in our mothers’ wombs and knows every fiber of our being. We stand on Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh. Lord, we ask for complete restoration—strength in his limbs, clarity in his speech, and stability in his vitals. May his body respond to rehabilitation as You guide the hands of his medical team with divine wisdom and skill.
Father, we also bring before You the spiritual concerns raised in this request. We rebuke in Jesus’ name any suggestion of curses, black magic, or witchcraft that may have been invoked against this family. The Bible is clear in Galatians 3:13 that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, and in James 4:7, we are commanded to resist the devil, and he will flee. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, as Your Word assures in Isaiah 54:17. We pray for a hedge of protection around them, that no evil may touch them, and that their home would be sanctified by the presence of the Holy Spirit.
We also ask for Your forgiveness over any sins in this father’s life, trusting in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Lord, grant this family peace that surpasses all understanding as they wait on You. Strengthen their faith, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).
We pray for this father’s physical needs—may his appetite return, his bed sores heal, and his infections subside. Let his body regain its reflexes and senses, and may he walk again in Your perfect timing. We also lift up his caregivers, both family and medical professionals, asking that You grant them patience, endurance, and compassion as they serve him.
Lord, we thank You for the name of Jesus, the only name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His sacrifice that we have access to You, and it is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We trust in Your mercy and power to bring about a miracle in this situation. May this family continue to seek You, knowing that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
