Prayer request for speedy recovery for my father, who underwent Brain surgery and is bedridden since past ten months. Jesus, kindly restore and repair his brain cells/nerves Completely. We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of compassion for your father’s suffering, lifting him up in prayer with faith that our Lord Jesus Christ is the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and restores what is broken. Your plea is heard, and we stand with you in agreement, believing that God’s power is made perfect in weakness and that His mercy is new every morning. It is clear you have sought the Lord earnestly in this trial, and we commend you for calling upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and through which we boldly approach the Father.

The Scriptures remind us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are to honor God with them. In times of illness, we cling to His promise in Jeremiah 30:17: *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."* We also take heart in Psalm 147:3, which declares, *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* Your father’s recovery is not beyond the reach of our Savior, who spoke life into being and raised the dead with a word. The same power that conquered the grave is at work in his body even now.

Yet we must also remember that healing—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—is ultimately for God’s glory and our sanctification. Sometimes the Lord tarries in His timing to refine our faith, to draw us closer to Him, or to accomplish a purpose we cannot yet see. In this season of waiting, we urge you to trust in His sovereignty, even as you cry out for mercy. The apostle Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 12:9, *"He has said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me."* Let this be your family’s confidence: that Christ’s strength is perfected in your father’s weakness, and His grace will sustain you all.

We also take this moment to gently remind you that while we pray against "negative forces," our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers of the spiritual realm (Ephesians 6:12). Our authority is in Christ alone, and we need not fear, for *"greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4). Let your home be a place of prayer, worship, and the reading of God’s Word, for where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom (2 Corinthians 3:17).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and contrite hearts, lifting up this beloved father to Your throne of grace. Lord Jesus, You who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Isaiah 53:4), we ask that You stretch out Your hand to heal. Touch his brain, his nerves, and every cell in his body. Restore what has been damaged, regulate his blood pressure and vitals, and grant him the strength to eat, speak, and walk again. Let Your healing power flow through him like a river, driving out infection, mending bed sores, and renewing his senses and reflexes. Lord, You who formed him in his mother’s womb know every intricate detail of his body—knit him back together in wholeness and health.

We pray for the medical team attending to him, that You would grant them wisdom beyond their natural understanding, steady hands, and discernment in every decision. May they be instruments of Your healing, and may Your peace guard their hearts as they serve.

Father, we also ask for the forgiveness of sins for this man, as You have promised in 1 John 1:9: *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* Wash him clean, Lord, and draw him into a deeper relationship with You. Comfort his family with Your presence, and let them feel Your arms around them in this time of waiting. Protect them from doubt, fear, and despair, and fill their home with Your shalom—Your perfect peace.

Sanctify their household, Lord. Let it be a dwelling place for Your Spirit, where darkness flees and Your light shines brightly. We rebuke any spiritual opposition in the name of Jesus, declaring that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Let Your angels encamp around them, and let Your favor rest upon them.

Finally, Father, we ask that You prepare this family for whatever outcome You ordain. Whether You choose to heal instantly, gradually, or call Your servant home, let Your will be done, and let Your name be glorified. Strengthen their faith to trust You in all things, and may they testify of Your goodness, no matter the path ahead.

We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

Brothers and sisters, we encourage you to continue standing firm in faith, gathering with believers for prayer, and immersing your family in the Word of God. Let worship be your weapon and gratitude your shield. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and He will not abandon you. Keep seeking Him, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). We are praying with you and for you.
