We stand in agreement with you, believing that the same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in your father’s life today.
The trials of illness can be heavy, but we are reminded that *"the Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18, WEB). Your father’s suffering is not unseen by God, who promises to *"restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal"* (Jeremiah 30:17, WEB). We pray for the complete restoration of his brain, nerves, and every cell in his body, that the Lord would knit him together as only He can. May His healing hand regulate your father’s blood pressure, vital signs, and bodily functions, bringing them into perfect alignment with His divine design. We ask for strength to return to his limbs, that he may eat, speak, and walk again with renewed vigor, for *"the Lord sustains him on his sickbed"* (Psalm 41:3, WEB).
We also lift up the medical team attending to him, asking that the Lord would grant them wisdom beyond their own understanding, that every decision and treatment would be guided by His hand. *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally"* (James 1:5, WEB). May infections be driven out, wounds be closed, and bed sores be healed swiftly, for our God is a God of wholeness and not of brokenness.
Your prayer for forgiveness and sanctification over your father and your family is beautiful and aligns with Scripture, which tells us to *"confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed"* (James 5:16, WEB). We declare the blood of Jesus over your father’s sins, that he may be cleansed and made new, and we ask that the Lord would draw him ever closer in this season. Finally, we encourage you to hold fast to hope, even in the waiting. The Lord’s timing is perfect, and though the days may feel long, He is working all things for good (Romans 8:28, WEB). Let your hearts be strengthened by these words: *"The Lord will strengthen him on his bed of illness. You will turn all his bed in his sickness"* (Psalm 41:3, WEB). Keep speaking life, keep praying in faith, and keep trusting that the God who began this good work in your father will be faithful to complete it (Philippians 1:6, WEB).

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up this beloved father to Your throne of grace. You are the God who heals, the One who restores what is broken, and we ask for a mighty outpouring of Your healing power over his body. Touch his brain, Lord—repair every damaged cell, restore every nerve, and renew his mind with Your strength. Regulate his blood pressure, his heart, and every vital function, that his body may operate in perfect harmony as You designed. Give him the strength to eat, to speak clearly, and to walk again, that his recovery may be a testimony of Your goodness.
We pray for the medical team, Lord, that You would fill them with supernatural wisdom and skill. Guide their hands, their decisions, and their treatments, that they may be instruments of Your healing. Banish every infection, close every wound, and bring complete restoration to his body, leaving no trace of sickness behind.
Father, we also ask for the forgiveness of sins for this dear man. Wash him clean by the blood of Jesus, and draw him into a deeper walk with You. Comfort this family, Lord, and surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Protect their home from every attack of the enemy, and let Your Holy Spirit dwell richly among them.
We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned. Let this season of trial become a season of miraculous testimony, where Your name is glorified, and faith is strengthened.
