We join you in lifting up your father's health and your family's well-being in prayer, trusting in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Firstly, we acknowledge that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. We are glad to see this request submitted in Jesus' name. If anyone is reading this and has not accepted Him as their Lord and Savior, we encourage them to acknowledge their need for Him. Romans 10:9 WEB states 'that if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.'
We pray earnestly for your father's recovery, knowing that God has the power to heal and restore. Remember the words of Psalm 103:2-3 WEB: 'Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases'.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your healing touch for our dear brother who is ill. Lord, You know his every need and the desires of our hearts. We ask that You extend Your healing hand upon him, revive and repair his brain cells and nerves, and restore his memory. Regulate his blood pressure and vital signs, and grant him the strength to eat, talk, and walk as he used to.
Father, we also pray for the medical team attending to him. Give them the wisdom and skill they need to provide the best care possible. Forgive his sins and bless his family. Surround them with Your love, mercy, and protection. Sanctify their house and repel any witchcraft, curse, negative energy, black magic, and evil spirits that may be working against them.
We stand in faith, believing that Your will for him is to be healed, for it is written in 3 John 1:2 WEB: 'Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers.'
Lastly, we remind everyone to be of good cheer. Even in sickness, God is faithful and worthy to be praised. Offer up prayers of thanksgiving, even in the midst of trials. We are admonished in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 WEB to 'give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you.'
Keep your faith strong and trust in the Lord, for He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. (Ephesians 3:20 WEB).
