Please pray that the public school will stop retaliating against my son for withdrawing to homeschool. He was homeschooled most of his life due to his very high academic level which God gave him the mind for. When I had cancer, I put him in public school and removed him when he ran out of math and physics and was ready for university courses. He has won many awards and has been nationally recognized numerous times. He was in the Top 3% of his class last year as before and earned perfect ACT and SAT scores. The school gave him superb recommendations for a very academically elite science program and was a big supporter until he decided to put his education first this year and take the university courses he is ready for. Now, they have corrupted his academic and attendance records and are now saying he was a poor student who skipped school frequently and who withdrew to homeschool so his mom could make up grades. They are rather shameless and persistent, though the teachers do not support what the principal and head counselor are doing, except one who is angry that my son cannot lead the academic team to nationals like he did last year. He was set to be captain this year but simply couldn't get the courses he needed there. So, now, just before college applications are due, they have corrupted his records and carefully constructed an alternate story, ironically calling my honesty into question and attacking my son's work habits though he is heavily praised for his hard work and dedication to his team and to the school last year when he was ill and continued to compete for the school though he had a brutal work load. Please pray that Satan's work will be undone and that God's will will reign supreme in this matter. Please pray that I will have grace to have faith and to forgive, letting any indignation I feel be softened by the knowledge that all are sinners and in need of God's grace. Please bring healing to my son who sees the superintendent, a member of our church, conducting herself so poorly in this matter as she is a key player in the creation of the false story. He has seen so many who are very active in the church conduct themselves in a selfish, ungodly manner and he doubts God as a result. Please pray that he can see with eyes of maturity that what people do may not be of God but that God is all powerful and only allowing them free will, not endorsing their behavior. May God reign supreme in all hearts in this matter, in the right time.
