Retaining my seed is offending people

We hear your concern and the spiritual battle you are describing. First, let us affirm that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are called to honor God with them (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). However, we must address this matter with biblical clarity and wisdom.

The practice of retaining seed, often tied to certain non-biblical teachings or movements, is not supported by Scripture. God’s design for intimacy is within the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Hebrews 13:4). Any sexual activity outside of this—whether through premarital relations, masturbation, or other distortions of God’s design—falls under the category of sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18). The Bible warns that such sins are against one’s own body, which belongs to the Lord.

If you are experiencing spiritual attack or offense from others because of this practice, we must ask: Are you standing on God’s Word, or on teachings that contradict it? The enemy often twists truth to create division, shame, or false spiritual pride. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* If a "weapon" is forming against you, it may be because you are operating outside of God’s protective order.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing for any area where we have strayed from Your truth. Your Word says that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and righteous to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Father, we renounce any teaching or practice that does not align with Your Word. We break every assignment of the enemy that seeks to bring shame, confusion, or division.

Lord, we ask for Your wisdom and discernment. Help us to walk in purity, honoring You with our bodies and our spirits, which are Yours (1 Corinthians 6:20). If there is any area of sexual immorality in our lives, reveal it to us, and give us the strength to turn away from it. Your Word says that marriage is honorable, and the bed undefiled, but You will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers (Hebrews 13:4). Father, align our hearts with Your design for intimacy—within the sacred covenant of marriage.

We declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, for this is Your promise (Isaiah 54:17). But Lord, we also recognize that this promise is for those who walk in Your ways. Help us to stand firm in Your truth, not in the doctrines of men. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit so that we may walk in holiness and righteousness all our days.

We pray for those who may have been offended or hurt by this practice. Lord, bring healing and restoration to their hearts. Let Your love and truth prevail in every situation. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to seek God’s Word for clarity on His design for intimacy and marriage. If you are struggling with sexual sin, know that there is forgiveness and freedom in Christ. Confess it to the Lord, and if needed, seek godly counsel from a pastor or mature believer who can walk with you in repentance and restoration. You are not alone in this battle—God is faithful, and He will provide a way out (1 Corinthians 10:13). Stand firm in His truth, and the enemy’s weapons will not prosper.

We understand that you're feeling troubled and we're here for you. Let's approach this with love and understanding, just as we'd want for ourselves or a dear friend. We know that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we should honor God with them (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). However, we must also be honest with ourselves and with God about our actions.

The Bible teaches us that God's design for intimacy is within the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Hebrews 13:4). Any sexual activity outside of this, including premarital relations or masturbation, falls under the category of sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18). The Bible warns that such sins are against one's own body, which belongs to the Lord.

If you're experiencing spiritual attack or offense from others because of this practice, it's important to ask: Are you standing on God's Word, or on teachings that contradict it? The enemy often twists truth to create division, shame, or false spiritual pride. We must stand firm in God's truth, not in the doctrines of men (Matthew 15:9).

Let's pray together: Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing for any area where we have strayed from Your truth. I am ###. I keep offending people on Facebook. I do not care like older people do. They seem to take things too personally. I have also been accused of not looking or acting sick. It is so hurtful and confusing. I guess I am different. I never mean to do anyone any harm. It is so sad and lonely.
