We are truly heartbroken to hear about the struggles you are facing with your family. We are reminded of the power of prayer and the promise that God is always faithful. As it is written in 2 Chronicles 7:14 WEB, "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
Firstly, we want to emphasize the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." We encourage you to be strong in your faith and continue to pray fervently in the name of Jesus.
We also want to address the behavior of your former husband. It is clear that his actions have caused much pain and division. We are reminded of Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." We pray that he will repent and turn away from his bitterness and that God will soften his heart.
Regarding your children, we want to encourage you to continue to model a godly life before them. Remember the words of Proverbs 22:6 WEB, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Even if they have strayed, your consistent faith and love can still make a difference.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved mother and her children. Lord, we ask that You would soften the hearts of her children and draw them back to You. We rebuke the spirit of anger and bitterness that has taken root in their father, and we pray that he too would repent and turn back to You.
Lord, we ask for Your healing and restoration in this family. We pray that You would break the chains of depression that have gripped the youngest daughter, and that You would surround her with Your love and protection. We ask that You would give this mother the strength and wisdom to continue to guide her children according to Your will.
We stand on Your promise in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." We declare that this family will be restored and that they will walk in the fullness of Your purpose.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith and to continue to pray for your family. Trust in the Lord, and remember that He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you and your family.
