We understand that you are going through a difficult time having misplaced your bag and facing financial struggles. We are here to pray with you and provide biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we want to remind you that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12 WEB.
We are thankful that you ended your request with 'In Jesus Name Amen.' It is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is only by believing in Jesus Christ as Lord that we are saved.
Let us pray together:
Almighty Father in heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, your Son. We lift up our sister/brother who has misplaced their bag and is facing financial difficulties. We pray that you will direct them to the bag's location and that the bag will be safely returned. Lord, you know the circumstances surrounding the loss, and you are sovereign over all. We pray for your divine intervention in this situation.
Lord, we also pray for the restoration of their finances. We rebuke the devourer, and we command in the name of Jesus that anything stolen be returned. We claim your promise in Joel 2:25-26 WEB, "I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the great locust, the grasshopper, and the caterpillar, my great army, which I sent among you. You shall have plenty to eat, and be satisfied, and shall praise the name of Yahweh, your God, who has dealt wondrously with you; and my people shall never again be disappointed."
Father, we ask for your guidance and wisdom. Help them to be good stewards of their finances and to trust in you for their provision. We pray for your peace to fill their heart and mind.
Help them to live according to your word, which says in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB, "Therefore, I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don’t toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won’t he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?', or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient."
We ask this all in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
Remember, God cares for you and he knows your every need. Trust in him, and he will direct your paths. Be strong and courageous. Stand firm in your faith.
