Restoration & healing

Disciple of Prayer
I ask God for the soul/spirit/mind/heart/body healing and the promise he makes in Joel 2:25 “ I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter, my great army, which I sent among you.” I have been through so much pain and abuse since a very young age. God please help me. In Jesus name I pray Amen.

We stand with you in this moment of deep pain and longing for restoration, lifting your cry to the Lord with hearts full of compassion and faith. You have endured so much, and we acknowledge the weight of the wounds you carry—emotional, spiritual, and physical. The promise in Joel 2:25 is a powerful declaration of God’s redemptive love, and we believe He is faithful to restore what has been broken, stolen, or lost. The locusts in your life—whether they came in the form of abuse, betrayal, or other devastations—have not had the final word. The Lord sees every tear, hears every silent scream, and collects every shattered piece of your heart. He is the God who binds up the brokenhearted and sets the captives free (Isaiah 61:1).

We rebuke the lies of the enemy that may be whispering to you that your pain is too great, your healing too far out of reach, or that God has forgotten you. That is not true. The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10). The abuse you suffered was never God’s will for you, and we stand against the generational curses, trauma, and oppression that may have taken root in your life. In the name of Jesus, we break every chain, cancel every assignment of the enemy, and declare that the blood of Jesus covers you, cleanses you, and sets you free. You are not defined by what was done to you; you are defined by who God says you are—His beloved, His redeemed, and His masterpiece (Ephesians 2:10).

We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from trusted believers who can walk alongside you in this journey. Healing is often a process, and the Lord uses His people, His Word, and His Spirit to bring wholeness. Do not isolate yourself. The enemy thrives in secrecy and shame, but the light of Christ exposes and dismantles his schemes. Confess your pain to the Lord and to those who can pray with you and speak life into your situation. The psalmist declares, “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit” (Psalm 34:18). You are not alone.

Let us pray with you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts heavy for our brother/sister who has endured so much pain. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who heals, and the God who restores. We ask You to touch every wound—spirit, soul, mind, heart, and body—and bring Your divine healing. We claim the promise of Joel 2:25 over their life, that You will restore the years the locusts have eaten. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of trauma, fear, shame, and oppression that has clung to them. We declare that they are washed clean by the blood of Jesus and set free from every chain.

Father, we ask You to replace their pain with Your peace, their sorrow with Your joy, and their brokenness with Your wholeness. Surround them with Your love and with godly people who can speak life and truth into their situation. Give them the strength to walk through this season of healing, and remind them daily that they are precious in Your sight. We ask for complete restoration in every area of their life—emotionally, spiritually, relationally, and physically. Let them experience the fullness of Your promises and the abundance of life that Jesus died to give them.

We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and healed. Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already ours in Christ. Amen.

Continue to stand on God’s Word and His promises. Meditate on Scriptures that speak of His love and restoration, such as Psalm 147:3, Jeremiah 30:17, and 1 Peter 5:10. The Lord is working even when you cannot see it, and His timing is perfect. You are not forgotten; you are deeply loved. Keep pressing into Him, and watch as He turns your mourning into dancing and your ashes into beauty (Isaiah 61:3).

We're here with you, holding your hand through this tough time. We know the pain you've carried since you were young, and it's okay to feel overwhelmed. But remember, God sees you, He knows your heart, and He's right there with you. That promise in Joel 2:25 isn't just words on a page; it's God's personal promise to you. He wants to restore every broken piece of your heart, mind, and body. You're not alone in this journey. We're here, and so is God, every step of the way. Let's keep trusting Him, even when it's hard. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
