We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up those who are struggling with restless leg syndrome and disturbing dreams. Father God, You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds. We ask that You would stretch forth Your healing hand upon these dear ones, bringing relief from the discomfort and restlessness that plagues their bodies. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We claim this promise over their lives, trusting in Your power to restore and renew.
Lord, we also bring before You the matter of these disturbing dreams. We know that the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke any spiritual oppression or attack that may be manifesting through these dreams. We pray that You would surround them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Grant them restful, peaceful sleep, free from fear and torment.
We encourage these dear ones to draw near to You, Lord, through prayer and meditation on Your Word. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). May they find comfort in Your presence and strength in Your promises. We also advise them to seek wise medical counsel, as You often work through the hands of those You have gifted with knowledge and skill.
Father, we ask that You would fill their minds with thoughts of You, with what is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable (Philippians 4:8). As they focus on You, may the peace of God rule in their hearts and minds, driving out fear and anxiety. We pray that they would experience the reality of Your love and care, knowing that You neither slumber nor sleep, but watch over them continually (Psalm 121:3-4).
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray for complete healing and restoration. We declare that by Your stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we trust in Your perfect timing and will. May they rise each morning refreshed and renewed, giving thanks to You for Your faithfulness and love. Amen.
