We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your son who is struggling with this respiratory and lung infection. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and restores our bodies. We ask that You would touch this young man, clear his airways, and bring complete healing to his lungs. May every infection be driven out, and may his breathing become easy and full once again.
Lord, we also pray for wisdom for the doctors and specialists who are treating him. Guide their hands, give them discernment, and lead them to the right diagnosis and treatment. We ask that You would open the doors for an earlier appointment with the specialist, and that the medication prescribed would bring swift relief and healing. You are the God who makes a way where there seems to be no way, and we trust in Your provision.
In James 5:14-15, Your Word tells us, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We stand on this promise, believing that You hear our prayers and will answer according to Your will.
We also rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness that may be afflicting him in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We speak life and health over his body, and we thank You, Father, for the healing that is already on its way.
Lord, we ask that You would comfort and strengthen your son during this time. Give him peace that surpasses all understanding, and fill him with hope as he trusts in You. Surround him with Your presence, and let him feel Your love and care in every moment.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved and healed. Amen.
