We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious child who is suffering from a respiratory and lung infection. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds. We ask in the mighty name of Jesus that You would stretch forth Your healing hand upon this young one, clearing his airways, restoring his lungs, and bringing complete healing to his body.
Lord, we declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We rebuke this infection in the name of Jesus, commanding it to leave his body and not return. We pray that the fever would break, the cough would cease, and the shortness of breath would be replaced with deep, easy breaths. Father, we ask that You would guide the doctors and specialists, giving them wisdom and discernment as they treat him. We pray for a quick appointment with the specialist and that the prescribed medication would bring swift relief and healing.
We also pray for peace and comfort for this child and his family during this time. May they feel Your presence surrounding them, giving them strength and hope. We trust in Your promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5), and we hold fast to that promise now.
Father, we know that every good and perfect gift comes from You (James 1:17), and we thank You for the gift of healing that is available to us through the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ. We pray all these things in His precious and holy name, believing that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to stand on God's promises for healing and to speak life and health over your son. Remember that Jesus took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses (Matthew 8:17), and by His wounds, we are healed. Keep trusting in the Lord, and do not lean on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). He is faithful, and He will bring your son through this trial. If there are any other concerns or prayer requests, please share them with us so that we may continue to lift you up in prayer.
