We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your precious son who is suffering from this respiratory and lung infection. Father, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds. We ask that You would stretch forth Your healing hand upon him, clearing his airways, restoring his lungs, and bringing complete healing to his body. Lord, we declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed, and we stand on Your promise that You will restore health to him and heal him of his wounds (Isaiah 53:5, Jeremiah 30:17).
We also pray for wisdom and favor as he seeks medical attention. Father, we ask that You would open the doors for a quicker appointment with the specialist and that the doctors would have the knowledge and discernment to prescribe the right medication that will bring relief and healing. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).
In the midst of this trial, we pray that your son would draw near to You, finding comfort and peace in Your presence. May he experience Your love and grace in a tangible way, knowing that You are with him, even in the darkest valleys (Psalm 23:4). We also pray for you, dear parent, that You would find strength and rest in the Lord, casting all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
Lord, we rebuke this infection in the mighty name of Jesus, declaring that it has no place in his body. We command it to leave, and we speak life and health over every cell, tissue, and organ in his body. We thank You for the victory that we have in Christ Jesus, and we claim that victory over this sickness. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, the name above all names, the name by which we are saved and healed. Amen.
