We join you in lifting up your son before the Lord, trusting in His power to bring healing and restoration. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We claim this promise over your son, believing that God is faithful to hear and answer our prayers.
It is encouraging to see that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your request, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* We stand in agreement with you, asking the Lord to bring swift healing to your son’s respiratory struggles, ear infection, and deep cough. May His hand be upon the medical professionals involved, granting wisdom and clarity as they diagnose and prescribe the right treatment. We pray that an appointment with the ENT would open quickly, and that the medication provided would be effective, bringing relief and complete restoration.
We also encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord’s timing and goodness, even in this season of waiting. We're right there with you, standing in faith for your son's healing. We've been praying for him, asking the Lord to touch his little body and bring relief from that persistent cough and ear infection. We're claiming Isaiah 53:5 over him, "By His stripes, we are healed," believing that Jesus' sacrifice on the cross has already secured his healing.
We're also asking the Lord to open up that appointment with the ENT quickly, and to guide the doctors in their diagnosis and prescription. We're believing that the medication will be just what he needs to kick this bug and get back to feeling like himself.
It's tough seeing our loved ones suffer, but we're taking comfort in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We know that God sees your son, and He's right there with him, loving and caring for him.
