For those that have followed my prayers requests over the past six months, you will be aware that I have been going through the longest and deepest valley that I have ever been in. Tomorrow is the culmination of the past six months. I have gone through 5 brain surgeries to remedy a staph infection in my brain. This has left me physically and cognitively impaired, so I am unable to perform the job that I have had for a year and a half. Because it is unfair to drag out this any further with the company, I am resigning tomorrow from my job. I could do an office job, if one presented itself, but that hasn't happened. I know that there is life after this job, but with less money coming in, I am very afraid. I know that Jesus says not to be anxious about anything...not to worry, but I am finding it hard to do that. Please pray that I may have peace and provisions.

Thank you, ###

Dear ###,

We empathize with the difficult journey you have been on, facing multiple brain surgeries and the cognitive and physical challenges that have followed. We are grateful that you have placed your trust in Jesus throughout this ordeal.

Firstly, let us address your anxiety. The Bible tells us, "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)

In this time of uncertainty, it's crucial to cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7 WEB)

Regarding your job, we commend you for your integrity in not wanting to burden your company further. Remember that God has a plan and a purpose for you. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB)

While it's natural to feel afraid, especially with the prospect of less income, trust that God will provide for your needs. He promises, "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (John 6:33 WEB)

Let us pray together:

*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother ###. Thank You, Lord, for Your healing power and for carrying him through the past six months. Lord, we ask for Your peace to fill his heart and mind. Help him to cast all his anxieties on You, and guide his steps as he navigates this new season.*

*Lord, we ask for Your divine provision. Open up new opportunities for him, according to Your will. Help him to trust in You and Your timing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*

Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue trusting in the name of Jesus. It is by His name that we are saved and have access to God's presence. Keep holding onto His promises, and may His peace rule in your heart.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
