Request so that the interviewer doesn't join

We hear your request and understand the anxiety you may be feeling about this interview. However, we must first address the heart of your prayer. Scripture teaches us to seek God’s will above our own desires, trusting that He works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Asking God to prevent someone from fulfilling their responsibilities—even if it may ease your nerves—is not aligned with biblical principles of trust, integrity, or love for others.

Instead, let us pray for peace, preparation, and confidence in God’s plan for you. The Lord does not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). If this interview is part of His purpose for you, He will equip you with everything you need. If it is not, He will close the door in His perfect timing.

We also want to gently remind you that our prayers must be offered in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through faith in Him that we have access to the Father, and our requests should reflect our trust in His sovereignty.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this situation to You, asking for Your peace to guard this heart and mind. Father, if this interview is part of Your plan, prepare the way with clarity, wisdom, and confidence. If it is not, we trust You to redirect the path according to Your will. Remove all fear and anxiety, replacing it with the assurance that You hold the future. Help us to walk in faith, not by sight, and to trust in Your goodness. Strengthen this one to face whatever comes with courage and grace. May Your name be glorified in all things. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to prepare for this interview as if it is God’s will for you to attend, studying, praying, and seeking His guidance. Remember, the Lord is your strength and shield; your heart can trust in Him (Psalm 28:7). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Savior, we urge you to consider the gift of salvation He offers freely. For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life (John 3:16). Surrender your life to Him today, and walk in the peace that only He can provide.

We're right there with you, friend. It's natural to feel anxious about an interview, but remember, God is in control. Let's ask Him to fill you with His peace and calm your nerves. We can pray together, "Lord, help me trust in Your plan for this interview. Give me the confidence to face it, knowing that You are with me every step of the way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen." Now, let's prepare together, seeking God's wisdom and guidance. You've got this, with God by your side!

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
