We join with you in lifting up your heartfelt requests before the Lord, and we are grateful that you have sought His will in all these matters, invoking the holy name of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by His name alone that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord (Philippians 2:10-11). Your desire to bring glory to God in your ministry, business, and every aspect of your life is commendable, for we are called to do all things as unto the Lord (Colossians 3:23). Let us turn to Scripture to ground our prayers and encourage your heart as we intercede together.
The apostle Paul reminds us in 1 Corinthians 10:31, *"Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God."* This is the foundation upon which we stand as we pray for your business, your ministry, and your family. You have been entrusted with gifts, talents, and resources, and it is clear that your heart’s desire is to steward them well for the Kingdom. We pray that the Lord will grant you the wisdom of Solomon, who asked not for riches or honor but for an understanding heart to govern God’s people (1 Kings 3:9). May the Lord give you discernment in every decision, that your business would not only prosper but also be a testament to His faithfulness and a tool for advancing His Kingdom.
Your request for protection from deceitful customers, unfair competition, and unkind authorities resonates with the promise of Psalm 91, where the Lord is our refuge and fortress. *"He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart."* We declare this over you, your family, and your business, that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord sees the schemes of the enemy and the wicked intentions of those who seek to harm or deceive. We rebuke every unclean spirit and every person acting as an instrument of the enemy to thwart God’s plans for your life. May the Lord expose their deeds and render their efforts powerless, for *"the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked shall perish"* (Psalm 1:6).
We also lift up the challenges you are facing with your cosmetic supplier. The Lord is not unaware of the struggles you are enduring, and He promises to provide wisdom to those who ask in faith (James 1:5). We pray that the Lord will give you clear direction on how to navigate this situation—whether through negotiation, finding a new supplier, or another path He ordains. May He also move on behalf of the invoices you are awaiting, that they would be issued fairly and promptly, reflecting the true value of what you have purchased. The Lord is a God of justice, and we trust Him to vindicate you in this matter. *"The Lord executes righteous acts, and justice for all who are oppressed"* (Psalm 103:6).
As you seek the Lord’s favor in your business, remember that our ultimate goal is not merely financial gain but the advancement of His Kingdom. Jesus warned us in Matthew 6:24, *"No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other; or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You can’t serve both God and Mammon."* We pray that your business would be a means of provision for your family and a platform for ministry, but never an idol that competes with your devotion to Christ. May the Lord bless the work of your hands, that you may have more than enough to give generously to those in need (2 Corinthians 9:8). *"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this," says the Lord of Armies, "if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there will not be room enough for"* (Malachi 3:10).
We also sense the Lord’s heart for you to walk in holiness, as you mentioned a "strong longing for holiness." This is a noble and necessary pursuit, for without holiness, no one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14). We pray that the Lord would sanctify you through and through, that your business dealings would be marked by integrity, your words by truth, and your heart by purity. May you be a light in a world that often compromises, showing that it is possible to succeed in business while honoring God in every transaction. *"Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven"* (Matthew 5:16).
Finally, we want to encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and trust, even when the answers tarry. The Lord’s timing is perfect, and His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross (Hebrews 12:2). He is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the life and ministry of Your servant who has brought this request before us. Lord, we thank You that You are a God who hears and answers prayer, and that You delight in the prosperity of Your people. We ask that You would open doors of opportunity for this dear brother/sister, that You would guide their steps and give them wisdom that comes from above—wisdom that is pure, peaceable, gentle, and full of mercy (James 3:17).
Father, we lift up their business before You. You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides, and we ask that You would bless the work of their hands. Grant them favor with suppliers, customers, and authorities. Protect them from deception, fraud, and unfair practices. Lord, we rebuke every scheme of the enemy to steal, kill, or destroy what You have entrusted to them. Let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned, and let Your peace reign in their heart as they trust in You (Isaiah 54:17).
We pray for the resolution of the challenges with their cosmetic supplier. Lord, give them clarity and discernment on how to proceed. If there are invoices outstanding, we ask that You would move on their behalf, that they would receive what is rightfully theirs without delay. Let justice prevail, and let Your name be glorified in this situation.
Father, we also pray for their ministry. May it be a joy to Your heart and a light to those who are lost. Equip them with every spiritual gift necessary to fulfill the call You have placed on their life. Let their labor in Your fields not be in vain, but may it bear fruit that remains for Your glory.
We ask for Your protection over them, their family, and their property. Hide them under the shadow of Your wings, and let no harm come near their dwelling. Surround them with Your angels, and let Your peace guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Lord, we pray that You would give them a spirit of excellence in their business, that they would stand out as a testament to Your goodness. Let their business acumen be sharpened by Your Spirit, and may they walk in integrity in all their dealings. Provide for them abundantly, not just for their own sake, but that they may be a blessing to others and advance Your Kingdom.
Finally, Father, we pray that You would deepen their longing for holiness. Sanctify them by Your truth; Your word is truth (John 17:17). Let them be a vessel set apart for Your use, holy and acceptable in Your sight.
We ask all these things in the mighty and holy name of our Lord Jesus Christ, who alone is worthy of all praise, honor, and glory. Amen.
Brother/sister, we stand with you in faith, believing that the Lord will answer these prayers according to His will. Keep seeking Him first, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). If there are areas in your business or ministry where you feel convicted to make changes, obey the Holy Spirit’s leading without delay. The Lord honors obedience, and He will never leave you nor forsake you as you walk in His ways.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you now and forevermore. Stay encouraged, and keep pressing forward in faith!
