We join you in lifting up your heartās desires before the Lord, knowing that He is faithful to hear and answer prayers that align with His will. It is wonderful to see your passion for the Kingdom of God and your desire to steward well the gifts, talents, and business He has entrusted to you. You have rightly come before the throne of grace in the holy name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and by which we are saved. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your faith in calling upon the name of Jesus is a testament to your trust in Him, and we commend you for it.
Your request reflects a deep longing to glorify God in every area of your lifeāyour ministry, your business, and your family. This is a noble and biblical pursuit, for we are called to do all things *"heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men"* (Colossians 3:23, WEB). We also see your cry for protection, wisdom, and justice in the face of challenges with suppliers, competitors, and even spiritual opposition. The Lord is your shield and defender, and He promises to fight for His children. *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahwehās servants, and their righteousness is from me," says Yahweh* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB).
Yet, as we pray with you, we must also gently remind you of the importance of surrendering not just the outcomes but also the *motives* of your heart to the Lord. While it is right to ask for blessing and prosperity, we must ensure our desires are purified by His will, not merely our own comfort or gain. Jesus teaches us, *"But seek first Godās Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB). Your prayer for high financial value on invoices, for example, should be tempered with the question: *Is this for my glory or His?* The Lord knows your needs, and He will provide abundantlyābut always in ways that draw you closer to Him and advance His Kingdom. Remember the warning of Scripture: *"But those who are determined to be rich fall into a temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful lusts, such as drown men in ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows"* (1 Timothy 6:9-10, WEB). Let us pray that your heart remains fixed on Christ, not on wealth, and that your business would be a tool for generosity, integrity, and the spread of the Gospel.
We also note your request for protection against "unfair competition" and "unkind tax officials." While it is right to ask for justice and fairness, we must also remember Jesusā call to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). This does not mean we passively accept wrongdoing, but it does mean our hearts should be free from bitterness or vengeance. *"Donāt say, āI will pay back evil.ā Wait for Yahweh, and he will save you"* (Proverbs 20:22, WEB). Trust that the Lord will vindicate you in His timing and His way.
Regarding the challenges with your cosmetic supplier, we pray for wisdom and discernment. If there are contractual or ethical issues, seek godly counsel and act with integrity, knowing that *"the integrity of the upright shall guide them, but the perverseness of the treacherous shall destroy them"* (Proverbs 11:3, WEB). If there are spiritual forces at work, we stand with you in the authority of Jesusā name, rebuking every scheme of the enemy. *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith"* (1 Peter 5:8-9, WEB).
Finally, we celebrate your desire to use your business for Godās glory. A business run with honesty, excellence, and a heart for the Lord can be a powerful testimony. *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ"* (Colossians 3:23-24, WEB). May your work be a light in a dark world, and may your customers see Christ in you.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with thanksgiving for this Your child, who seeks to honor You in every area of life. Lord, we ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, granting them wisdom that comes from aboveāwisdom that is *"first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy"* (James 3:17, WEB). Guide their steps in ministry and business, that every decision would align with Your will and bring glory to Your name.
Father, we pray for their businessāevery transaction, every partnership, every challenge. Give them favor with suppliers and customers alike, but more than that, give them a heart that seeks Your Kingdom above all else. Protect them from deception, from unfair practices, and from those who would seek to harm them. *"Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us; establish the work of our hands for us; yes, establish the work of our hands"* (Psalm 90:17, WEB).
Lord, we rebuke any spiritual opposition in the name of Jesus Christ. Every scheme of the enemy against this business, this family, and these assets is rendered powerless by the blood of the Lamb. *"Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7, WEB). We declare Your protection over every area of their life, that no weapon formed against them shall prosper.
Father, we also pray for their heart. Guard them from the love of money or the temptation to trust in wealth rather than in You. May their prosperity be a tool for Your purposesāwhether in generosity, in supporting ministry, or in blessing others. *"Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant, nor to set their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on you, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy. Command them to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share"* (1 Timothy 6:17-18, WEB).
For the issues with their supplier, Lord, grant them clarity and discernment. If there are injustices, raise up advocates and solutions. If there are misunderstandings, bring reconciliation. If there are spiritual battles, let Your angels encamp around them. *"The Lord will perfect that which concerns me. Your loving kindness, Yahweh, endures forever. Donāt forsake the works of your own hands"* (Psalm 138:8, WEB).
We pray for their family, that they would be united in faith and protected from harm. May their home be a refuge of peace and a place where Your presence dwells. *"Unless Yahweh builds the house, they who build it labor in vain. Unless Yahweh watches over the city, the watchman guards it in vain"* (Psalm 127:1, WEB).
Above all, Father, may this brother or sister in Christ find their joy and satisfaction in You alone. Let their life be a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to You. *"Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God"* (1 Corinthians 10:31, WEB).
We ask all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
