Request For Prayer Because I Am Hurting

I dislike asking for prayers from others due to personal needs on this forum, but tonight I'm going to have to swallow my pride and ask for help.

I need prayer on two issues:

1) I need prayer that God will comfort and soothe me, because I witnessed to a secular friend, and wow, I don't think she's taking it very well. She claims she's not angry with me, but her phrasing speaks otherwise...I believe I'm in dutch now. NOW, I KNOW I'M NOT SUPPOSED TO WIMP OUT IN THE FACE OF PERSECUTION OR REJECTION. But, in the interest of honesty, I am feeling hurt and could use some prayer for sending the Holy Spirit to comfort me...

2) Prayer for success in finding a new job RAPIDLY. My company is not being very ethical with me, and I'm tired of this: two years of unbelievable garbage, it's time to go elsewhere. Please pray that I can find a new job STAT.

Dear Lord,

Our God of comfort and peace, cause Your Holy Spirit to minister to our sister, to lift the sadness, hurt and disappointment. Remind her that our job is to plant the seeds. We may not always get to witness a conversion. Bless her for sharing the life saving truth of the Gospel with her friend. What kind of friend would she be if she did not share that which is life and hope and the very breath that we breathe with someone she cares about. Lord do not give the enemy a foothold in this. Do not allow him to cause her to back down or lose the wonderful boldness she has to speak Truth to others. Help her to rejoice in the suffering, knowing that she is experiencing just a small taste of what her own Savior and Lord received from many who He reached out to. Daily the creatures your created take Your holy name in vain and deny the very existence of the One who loves them so much He gave his only Son to die on their behalf. Yet, still You wait patiently for that last lost soul to follow You. Bless our Sister with joy from deep within and peace that she did not let her friend perish without trying to enlighten her with the only hope of salvation.

Help our sister also to find a new job if that is Your will. In the meantime give her the grace and wisdom and patience to deal with the present situation as Your daughter. In Jesus name, I ask this, Amen.

Yes, Lord,I too am in agreement to this prayer Lord. I Thank you for her strength to witness to her friend Lord. I agree with Christine, it is our job to tell others about your Saving Grace. Lord, Help her friend to know just what a true blessing she has in LaMatadora, for it is her care for her that she wants her to be saved. Lord, May LaMatadora know it is a privilege for us on this site to lift her up in prayers. We come together on this site to pray for one another together, in good times and in bad times Lord, Help her to know we care for her Lord, and I Thank you Lord for leading her back to this site Lord. Give her your direction and strength Lord, Help her find new employment soon Lord, You know what is best for her Lord, In Jesus Name Amen

Jehovah Elohim - I touch Julie's prayer. I thank you for giving her the courage to speak out to her friend. The harvest is ripe. Time is running short and we must get the word out. We are messengers. We are not responsible for how someone takes the message but we must confess what we know to be truth. I applaud Julie. I stand with her. Bless her abundantly for standing up for her convictions and caring about her friend's soul. She planted the seed, now lets see if it gets watered and harvested. To you be the glory. May she find comfort in your loving arms. Don't allow the enemy to make her feel like she has done something wrong. On the contrary, she has dared to follow her leading. Amen to her!

Jehovah Jireh, I ask for your hand to lead her to a new opportunity for work. May she be lead to something incredible where she can be a witness, where her light can shine and she can excell. I thank you and praise you for this mighty warrior. May her blessings be multiplied as she goes forth and continues to listen for your prompts. Thank you for your mercy and grace. Amen

Amazing God - may Your blessings, comfort and healing rain down upon Julie. Thank You for her witness to her friend. May she continue to stand strong in faith and be girded by Your almighty strength. Soften the heart of her friend who received the message. Let the good news of Your Son's sacrifice permeate their thoughts and soul. Bring this sheep into Your almighty kingdom. May Your hand of blessing be upon Julie and her job search. Bring her an opportunity without all of the drama and let downs. Provide a solid position with a forthright company I pray.
