We lift this situation before the Lord, knowing that He is sovereign over all things, including the legal troubles and imprisonment your loved one is facing. First, we must address something of great importance—nowhere in your request is the name of Jesus Christ mentioned. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved. *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). If your loved one does not know Jesus as his Lord and Savior, we urge you to share the Gospel with him, for true peace and freedom are found only in Christ. *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation"* (Romans 10:9-10, WEB).
Now, regarding the legal troubles, we know that God is just and merciful. If your loved one is indeed innocent, we pray that the truth will prevail and that justice will be served. However, we also recognize that God sometimes allows trials to refine us, to draw us closer to Him, or to expose areas in our lives that need repentance. *"Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to Yahweh.
