Request for job and dreams to come true

Heavenly Father, I ask that you would forgive me of all my sins and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. I am praying for a new job which would include a boss that respects employees and treat individuals in a manner in which she/he would like to be treated. A benefits package and decent pay. I would like God to grant a few things that I have wanted someday I want to be comfortable in the sense of having a little bit of joy in my life some days. So tired of not having enough resources to have things that I need. Blessings spiritually, physically, and financially. I work at a school as a Substitute teacher my boss only cares about money scholars don’t know basic things that at their age should be known. I have done everything that I can do for some intellectually delayed scholars but stepped back because I am not getting paid for that. It is unfortunate that children are helpless and the parents are misguided. Authenticity, Honesty, Fruit of the Spirit is what I want in my life, Lead me guide me along the way Lord if you lead me I cannot stray. In the worthy name of Jesus I pray Amen.

We join you in lifting up your heartfelt requests before the Lord, and we are grateful that you have sought Him in repentance and faith, for it is only through the name of Jesus that we find forgiveness and access to the Father. Your prayer reflects a deep longing for godly character, provision, and purpose—things that align with the heart of God. Let us first affirm the truth of 1 John 1:9, which assures us that *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* You have done this, and we rejoice that your slate is made clean through Christ’s sacrifice.

Your weariness in your current role as a substitute teacher is understandable, especially when laboring in an environment where the focus is misplaced, and the needs of the children—both academically and spiritually—are overlooked. It is commendable that you have shown compassion to those who are intellectually delayed, yet it is also wise to recognize the boundaries of your role, particularly when you are not compensated for the extra care you provide. Still, we must remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 25:40: *"Most certainly I tell you, because you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me."* While we are not called to exhaust ourselves without wisdom, we are called to serve with love, trusting that God sees and rewards our heart’s intent. That said, it is not wrong to seek a position where your labor is respected and fairly compensated. In fact, Scripture encourages us to work with excellence and to be treated justly. Colossians 3:23 reminds us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men,"* while James 5:4 warns against the exploitation of workers: *"Behold, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you have kept back by fraud, cry out, and the cries of those who reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of Armies."*

You have also expressed a desire for comfort, joy, and the ability to meet your needs—things that are not wrong to ask for, so long as they do not become idols in our hearts. Jesus Himself tells us in Matthew 6:31-33, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your request for a job with a respectful boss, fair pay, and benefits is a practical and godly one. We pray that the Lord would open the right door for you, one that aligns with His will and allows you to flourish while also providing for your needs. Remember, too, the promise in Psalm 37:4: *"Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart."* When our desires are submitted to Him, He shapes them to reflect His good purposes for us.

We notice, however, that while you have closed your prayer with the name of Jesus, there is a subtle shift in your wording—*"Lead me, guide me along the way Lord, if you lead me I cannot stray."* While this reflects a heart of surrender, we must be careful not to treat God’s guidance as a conditional or transactional promise. Our trust in Him is not based on our ability to follow perfectly, but on His faithfulness to lead us even when we falter. Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* His leading is not a reward for our performance but a gift of His grace. Rest in that truth.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister, lifting her needs and desires to You with gratitude that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. Lord, we thank You that she has sought Your forgiveness and cleansing, and we ask that You would fill her with the assurance of Your love and the power of Your Spirit to walk in newness of life. Father, she longs for a job where she is valued, respected, and compensated fairly—a place where her gifts can be used for Your glory and her needs can be met. We ask that You would open the right door at the right time, providing a position that aligns with Your will and brings her joy in her labor. Give her patience and wisdom as she waits, and let her trust in You grow deeper each day.

Lord, we also lift up her weariness and the burdens she carries from her current role. Comfort her heart, and remind her that You see her efforts, even when others do not. Strengthen her to serve with love while also setting healthy boundaries, knowing that You are her Provider and Defender. Father, she has expressed a desire for a little joy and comfort in her life—things that are not wrong to ask for, but which You delight to give in Your perfect timing. We pray that You would meet her needs spiritually, physically, and financially, and that You would guard her heart from covetousness or discontentment. Let her find her deepest satisfaction in You, knowing that You are her portion and her joy.

We ask that You would cultivate in her the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—so that her life may be a testament to Your transforming power. Help her to walk in authenticity and honesty, reflecting Your character in all she does. Father, we also pray for the children she has mentioned, those who are struggling and helpless. Raise up godly influences in their lives, and soften the hearts of their parents to seek Your wisdom and truth. Use her, even in this season, to be a light in their lives, however You may lead.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would guard her heart against discouragement or bitterness. Renew her strength like the eagle’s, and let her hope be firmly anchored in You. Remind her that You are working all things together for her good, even when the path is difficult. We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord, knowing that it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne of grace. May Your will be done in her life, and may she walk in the fullness of Your blessings. Amen.

As you wait on the Lord, we encourage you to meditate on His promises and to seek His kingdom above all else. Keep your heart open to His leading, and trust that He is preparing the way for you, even now. If you feel led, consider fasting and praying for clarity and breakthrough in this season. Surround yourself with believers who can speak life and truth into your situation, and continue to walk in obedience to His Word. He is faithful, and He will not leave you nor forsake you. Stand firm in that truth.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting your heartfelt request before the Lord these past few days. It has been our privilege to stand with you in prayer, asking God to open doors for a new job where you are valued and respected, where your labor is met with fair compensation, and where you can experience the joy of provision—not just in finances, but in the peace and purpose that come from walking in His will.

We’ve also been praying earnestly for the dreams you’ve carried in your heart, those quiet longings for a life marked by a little more comfort, a little more breathing room, and the ability to meet your needs without constant strain. Most of all, we’ve asked the Lord to surround you with the fruit of His Spirit—love, patience, kindness, and authenticity—in every area of your life, especially in a workplace that has left you weary. Your desire to reflect honesty and integrity, even in difficult circumstances, is a testament to the work God is already doing in you.

If the Lord has begun to answer—whether through a new opportunity, a shift in your current situation, or even a renewed sense of His presence in the waiting—we would love for you to share a praise report with us. Your testimony could be the very encouragement someone else needs today. And if the path ahead still feels uncertain, please don’t hesitate to post your request again. We are here to continue standing with you, believing that God is faithful to complete the good work He has started in your life (Philippians 1:6).

May you feel His nearness in these days, especially when the weight of provision and the brokenness of the world around you press in. He sees your sacrifices, your exhaustion, and your heart to serve well—even when it goes unnoticed by others. Keep seeking Him, trusting that He is guiding your steps, one day at a time.

We are praying for you still. In Jesus’ name.

I have a guy in my dreams and we were in a dark room together. There were dark spots on the windows. I was laying to the left side and woke up on the right side of the bed and saw him sitting up in the bed looking at the right side of my face saying he wasn't going to touch me. Common sense is I...

It’s been a while. I feel like I've been in hiding, just dealing, since I always come here when things are wrong. I did want to begin with a praise report. The court case was dropped as a nonsuit, a year of multiple court dates for something I shouldn’t have owed, but I am still grateful. I am...
