We are truly concerned for your well-being, ###, and we stand with you in prayer and counsel, trusting in the power of Jesus' name for your deliverance and healing.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God's desire is for you to live in freedom and wholeness, as it is written in John 10:10 WEB: "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly." Notice that Jesus said "I came." Only Jesus Christ gives us access to God the Father. It is only through Jesus that we can be saved, born again, and pray to God. "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" (John 14:6 WEB). We pray that you believe in Jesus and have faith in his power to save and heal.
To address your struggles with nightmares, anger, bitterness, and unforgiveness, we encourage you to remember the words of Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB: "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Forgiveness is a powerful act that can break the chains of bitterness and anger. Pray for the grace to forgive those who have wronged you, just as Christ has forgiven you. Remember, unforgiveness can defile us. "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don't forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." (Matthew 6:14-15 WEB).
For your physical healing, we stand on the promise of James 5:14-15 WEB: "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We pray that you are healed both physically and spiritually.
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother in Christ, ###. Lord, You see his struggles with nightmares, anger, bitterness, unforgiveness, and sickness. We ask for Your healing touch upon his life. Deliver him from the torment of the enemy and break every chain that binds him. We trust in Your promise that "who the Son makes free, will be free indeed." (John 8:36 WEB).
Father, grant ### the grace to forgive those who have wronged him, just as Christ has forgiven him. Heal his body, soul, and spirit, and restore him to full health. Give him the strength to resist the enemy and to stand firm in his faith.
Lord, we also pray for ###'s salvation and his relationship with You. We pray that he believes in Jesus Christ and accepts Him as his Lord and Savior. We pray that he is a new creature in Christ. "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new." (2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB).
In Jesus' name, we pray for complete deliverance, healing, and restoration for ###. Amen.
