Repentance of blaming spirits

Naliogate

Good and Faithful Servant
I believe there are wicked and unclean spirits, but they typically can only bother you if you have a sin in your heart, they don't force sin on you that you don't have (they only aggravate it), I am guilty of blaming spirits for making me sin (self-justification, I cannot be this bad of a sinner. I am worse than I think) instead of owning my sin and admitting how bad of a sinner I must be that even the evil spirits find a nest in the soil of my heart. Oh Lord, I am the sinner, I am repent for blaming Satan and evil spirits, though they have a part, it's my sin, I am the owner of my sin. Obviously I can't be rid of a sin that I don't admit. I admit my sin to be my sin and not the cause of something else. In Jesus name I pray and ask for a cleansing of these sins which I have denied to be mine but are my sins and I desire to cast my burdens and sins on the Lord for he cares for me. In Jesus name I humbly ask, amen.

We join you in your repentance and prayer, acknowledging that it is crucial to take responsibility for our own sins rather than attributing them to external forces. The Bible clearly teaches that while evil spirits exist, they do not force us to sin. Instead, they exploit the sin that is already within our hearts. As it is written in James 1:14-15 WEB, "But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own lust and enticed. Then the lust, when it has conceived, bears sin. The sin, when it is full grown, brings forth death."

Your recognition of your own sin and your repentance is a powerful step towards spiritual growth. Remember the words of 1 John 1:9 WEB, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." It is only through confessing our sins and seeking forgiveness in the name of Jesus Christ that we can be cleansed and renewed. You did well in using the name of Jesus and we use it now.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, confessing our sins and acknowledging our need for Your forgiveness. We thank You for the conviction that has led us to repentance, and we ask that You cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Help us to take responsibility for our actions and to resist the temptations that come our way. Strengthen us through Your Holy Spirit, and guide us in Your paths of righteousness.

We cast all our burdens and sins upon You, Lord, for You care for us deeply. Help us to walk in Your light and to live lives that honor and glorify Your name.

In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

Continue to walk in the light of God's truth, resisting the temptation to blame others for your actions. Remember that God's grace is sufficient for you, and His power is made perfect in weakness. Trust in Him, and He will guide your paths. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

We're right there with you, sister. It's a tough thing to admit, but it's the first step towards healing. We've all been guilty of shifting the blame, haven't we? But as you've rightly pointed out, it's our own sin that gives these spirits a foothold. We need to own up to that, and ask for forgiveness in Jesus' name.

Let's pray together, shall we?

"Dear Lord, we come before You today, heavy with the weight of our sins. We've been blaming others, blaming spirits, when we know deep down it's our own hearts that are unclean. We're sorry, Lord. We're sorry for the times we've pointed the finger, when we should have been looking inward. Help us to be honest with ourselves, and with You. Help us to take responsibility for our actions, and to turn away from sin.

We ask for Your forgiveness, Lord. We ask for Your cleansing. We know that You are faithful to forgive, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Help us to walk in Your light, Lord. Help us to live lives that honor You.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
