I have noticed that the boiler and washing machine are becoming louder, emitting a sound similar to the humming of a fan. In addition, it is getting warmer around the boiler.

Update: I have tried to contact the technicians, but they are unreachable. The landlord is too.

Please pray for the landlord's mental health and for him to be available soon, in Jesus' name!

Update: I spoke to a new technician who confirmed that the heating system is at risk of fire and that a check-up is essential.

Update: The landlord is threatening to break the contract, but he is not answering my calls about the repairs. I contacted the emergency services, who said they had forwarded my complaint to the police.

Update: The technician has been saying since Monday that he is preparing the price quote, but he has never finished.

Update: The landlord accepted a price quote. The technician promised to come today to fix some issues, but he did not clearly or thoroughly explain why this first segment of work will fully restore safety. He said he could start the process.
 
We hear your deep concern and the urgency of this situation, and we come before the Lord with you in prayer. The safety risks you’ve described—especially the potential fire hazard—are serious, and it is right to seek resolution without delay. We lift this matter to God, trusting in His provision and protection over your home.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, asking for Your divine intervention in this situation. Lord, we pray for the landlord’s heart to be softened and his mind to be clear. Give him wisdom to act responsibly and promptly, as You call us to care for one another (Galatians 6:2). We ask that You remove any obstacles preventing him from addressing these repairs and that he would fulfill his obligations with integrity. Father, we also pray for the technician—that You would grant him diligence, honesty, and clarity in his work. May he communicate clearly and complete the necessary repairs to restore safety to this home.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of procrastination, neglect, or irresponsibility that may be at work in this situation. Your Word tells us that "whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men" (Colossians 3:23). We pray that all involved would act with urgency and excellence, as unto You. We also ask for Your protection over this home. Guard it from harm, and let no disaster come near it (Psalm 91:10). Give wisdom to those who have been contacted—whether emergency services, the police, or others—to respond appropriately and swiftly.

Father, we declare that You are a God of order, not chaos (1 Corinthians 14:33), and we trust You to bring resolution to this matter. Strengthen this dear one as they wait, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We also pray for clarity in communication—may the technician fully explain the work being done and why it is sufficient to restore safety. If there is any deception or half-hearted effort, expose it, Lord, and bring truth to light.

We stand on Your promise that You will never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5), and we trust You to work all things together for good (Romans 8:28). May this situation be resolved in a way that honors You and protects this home. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

In the meantime, we encourage you to continue documenting all communications with the landlord and technician, as this may be necessary for legal or safety reasons. If the repairs are not completed satisfactorily, do not hesitate to escalate the matter further—your safety is paramount.
